Patreon Visual Update

The new patreon visual update looks goofy as hell. But I guess it's alright. There is apparently an in patreon virtual store, similar to gumroad to my understanding, so I'll most likely upload the past illustration packs and other doujin stuff onto here now instead of on gumroad. That's if I figure out where it is or how to use it.

[edit: patreon commerce not available for 18+ creators (me) so we sticking on gumroad for the time being BABY!!]

I guess I'll also take this time to give an update on stuff. As you probably already figured out, I'm not doing inktober. I'm going to be pretty busy this month doing personal homework. But nothing is changing, art will be uploaded on schedule like how it's been so far.

Update on the Visual Novel. I still really want to try and get a demo proof of concept version out before the end of the year, and if all goes well it'll probably happen. But I don't know if I'll ever finish it to completion, the entire vision I mean. Doing branching storylines and stuff is pretty hard to do. So, do expect that the demo version of it is going to be more of a Kinetic Novel than a Visual Novel. If you don't know what that means, it just means there is no player interaction. You're just reading a story, really. If you've read something like Planetarian, it's basically going to be that. But still, this project was just for a fun experiment and a break from doujin stuff.

Don't know if I'll be going back to creating doujinshi. Maybe, if I have an idea that's really juicy and worth the time and effort, I'd probably do it. I do have some ideas floating around, but IDK... would anybody really want to read a 5-6 page comic, is that enough to be horny?

Well... so yeah. 2023, I'm going to try my hardest to get this demo done!! I need to rewrite it though. Because these goddamn branches are crazy, we got to reel it back a little bit. Start smaller, I'm still just a VN noob. Doesn't help that I've never played a VN either.

But, going into 2024, I want to try some new stuff. Don't worry, again, things are going to be the same, 5 illustrations a month. But I do like exploring and trying new things. I'm not going to spoil what I have in store because I don't want to give false expectations or anything. But if I can learn how to do this thing, I'll be able to level up my art significantly.

Okay bye bye
