Also I love Marketa's reaction about how this is supposed to be a good place. Because I feel like that's a very human reaction/idea (I felt the same initially) I instinctually jumped towards the conclusion that removing someones regret must = good, but regrets or making choices you at first regretted, sometimes lead you to some of the most important things that built you. We get to really see how removing regrets can actually be, ...not for the better.

Not that they could have known it (I think) when writing this episode but if Coulson wasn't there to help Fury in Captain Marvel then he would have been caught or killed and Fury was instrumental in exposing Hydra before they got into power.

chris: i'm pretty sure fitz is an lmd idk why i think that i just think that i know i'm an idiot me: spongebobandpatricktryingnottolaugh.gif i think when you guys keep counting the LMDs you keep counting may but she doesn't count bc they all knew she was an LMD already. the 4 they got in the last episode were coulson, mack, mace, and fitz. can we talk about the GOD-TIER acting in that fitzsimmons scene and then later in the daisy/simmons scene ugh this cast!!!! most talented in the marvel universe and also the most underappreciated. especially iain de caestecker. idk if they've already explained how the framework was formed so idk how much detail i should go into with this but may's biggest regret was bahrain and they fixed that and so her in the framework carried out her life with that one regret fixed. you'll get more of an explanation for the other characters as the episode progresses tho don't worry! and chris ABSOLUTELY agree with your fitzsimmons stance lmao i would love a sitcom of them just getting up to their little science shenanigans while being in love PLEASE. we, as a society, need that. still to this day don't think i've seen a more perfect episode of television from top to bottom everything about the execution of this one is the best. and it was the first episode jed whedon directed!

Also if you look closely at the lmd scanner it says 4 compiled reports TOTAL. May wasn’t counted because the scanners never detected her since she was in a bag. So Fitz, Mace, Mack, and coulson were detected

The bulk of the design of the Framework, and the resulting societal structure is essentially direct input from Aida. It was never intended to be the "perfect world", but a world where some deep regret was changed for the actual humans placed inside it. Aida did this in order to ensure that the people she placed in the Framework wouldn't WANT to leave. Not everything you see in the Framework is a direct result of the changes she made to peoples lives though. Some of it is just stuff Aida chose to do. Also real quick, the HYDRA building was the Triskelion, the old SHIELD headquarters from Winter Soldier.

The framework's purpose isn't to make the person live their ideal life, it's about allowing the person to undo their deepest regret, which can have drastic changes to the person or the world around them.

Did you recognize where May was at the end? That building is the Triskelion. It was destroyed at the end of Captain America: Winter Soldier by the heli-carrier crash. But that didn't happen in the Framework.

Lol Fitz was switched at the same time with the others. Until the end of episode 14 he was still normal Fitz. You guys were wrong every episode until then lol. The woman walked through the LMD detector with the hanger in 13. It would have already detected Fitz if he was one. You guys were seeing signs that weren’t there lol But you were sort of right.

Finally! This episode is the very reason I became a patreon in the first place. This is still my favorite single episode in any TV show I've ever watched and up there with Breaking Bad's Ozymandias. I wish I could rewatch it for the first time again, but I'm happy you've got that chance. The emotions were too many, kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time... such a masterpiece, damn. Iain and Elizabeth (Fitz-Simmons) are phenomenal actors. The next few episodes are all amazing. And by the way, this episode has the highest rating on IMDB and was directed and written by Jed Whedon. 10/10.
