I wouldn't really say it was so much that they were kids that they didn't jump in, it's a question of survival. Sasuke and Naruto are out, and Rock Lee got messed up easily. It comes down to whether they really think that they would survive a fight with people with powers like the Sound ninja, and even if they're friends, it's not easy for people to risk their lives like that, kids or not.

Honestly when I think back to when I was in middle school, I remember girls being more like Sakura, Ino and Hinata, rather then being more like Ten Ten or Temari. So I can't really blame Kishimoto for making the girls characters the way that he did for that age because I feel like we all had many sakuras, inos, and hinatas in our schools at that age. Even if not ALL were like that I still feel that a lot were. Also when it comes to older characters Kishimoto's portrayal of them isn't horrible, I mean kuranai, Anko, and others that haven't appeared yet aren't annoying. I actually wish we got to see more of them. It's just the young ones who were frustrating to watch, because of where their priorities were and that to me is understandable.

In all honesty I don’t hate Sakura but I also don’t like her, to me she’s okay and kinda gets better later in the series and that’s all I can say for most of the females in Naruto, like Kishimoto said it himself he’s not good at writing female characters and one of the things I realize is that almost every female in this series has the same personality and I think some people hate Sakura because you just see her the most

But I have anxiety and I was super excited for u guys to finally watch this episode which is my favourite, I’ve been shaking all the way thru but thats okay, I’m glad you guys were impressed by Sakura’s “rebirth”. Sakura gets a lot of hate from the fandom, please don’t let that cloud your judgement and remember that if there’s something you wish would be different about Sakura I wish you would think badly of the writing or writers of the show instead of her; a character worthy of good writing. When i watched the show I was 12, Sakura was a huge inspiration for me. Thank you for rooting for her just as I was rooting for her, myself and other girls 💛

I think you have the wrong idea about their running. They dont run that way to go faster, they run that way because the proper way of running blocks your field of vision around your feet. They are ninja and they have to react at a momemnts notice, so its better not to have your arms blocking your field of vision.

I'm pretty sure Sasuke would have much rather have his family back rather than being 'that guy' and 'cool' growing up because he was known as the survivor of the uchiha massacre. You'll understand his character more in the coming episodes though so i don't want to say much but i definitely don't think he had a silverspoon.

I don't think it's sexism that is the problem, it's the sometimes rather poor writing. There aren't any female characters who are semi-central to the story, who gets a considerable amount of sceentime and evolves and grows - both as persons as well as kunoichis. Sakura exists because there had to be a love interest, as well as a third, female member on the team. Kakashi has more depth and gets more screentime.

In terms of this not aging well i think your wrong on that because there are a good couple of badass women introduced to the show already by this point so the writers didnt have a sexist mindset at all while making this. its just like you said they are little girls and every worry about Sakara not standing on her own as her own character was legit directly addressed in this episode which shows they are planning on evolving her character. Everything you think about Sakara is what they are doing on purpose so they can evole her character not because they are lowkey sexist or something.

Ino and Sakura didn't REALLY hate eachother. They had a rivalry, sure, but when push comes to shove, they're the best of friends. I'm ready for each of the Normies to change their stance on a certain badass character that they've been ragging on, next episode.

From what I've gathered the Naruto releases are only two per week due to the want/need for having a good amount in the pipeline (which is understandable if there's a week where the group isn't around to watch) or the amount of editing you have to do. Anyway, I want to say that I'd like to offer up my editing services free of charge. As someone who has a degree in video editing as well as other post-production skills, I can ensure not only a good product, but, as also a fan of the show and knowing what moments/lines people want to see you react to, I could make that already good product great. Also I think Micky is right. The thing about Sasuke is petty. But I think it was because Sakura and Ino ARE petty. Sakura was influenced by Ino because she was obviously very different. And Ino has a superiority complex. And their friendship breaking over Sasuke makes sense when you consider how shallow they are to begin with. That something so stupid is all they care about. Sakura's blossoming is her somewhat taking a step away from her pettiness just a little bit. They both grew out long hair because they thought Sasuke liked long hair, and then she cut it off because she prioritized something more important than the silly obsession with Sasuke. And I guess this inspires Ino to realize being a ninja, and being friends, is more important than their petty conflict. But their rivalry is imbedded in their relationship after acting that way for years. So at the very least that bit and the Sasuke stuff won't go away. But it won't be their main motivation anymore.

I watched this when I was around ten years old, and I remember emphasizing so much with Sakura too. Because of the way people are now, they only appreciate a female when she's strong or badass or cute and moe and the girl meant for the main character. Sakura isn't any of that though so people just jumped on a bandwagon and started meaninglessly hating on her, At this point in time she's pretty weak, and she only cared about boys and looking pretty, but to see her toss that away and keep fighting despite being so weak really left a good impression on me. I'm happy to see Rana at least gets it.

REACTION MVP GOES TO: RANA !! Everyone's reaction to Sakura Blossoming was great!, But... you could visibly see how much Rana emphasized with Sakura's plight by the Tear no Jutsu in her eyes. Awesome stuff. I agree Micky, watching their feud as an Adult it's like "Bruh... Really?" Again though... they're kids, lol. They're around 12 years old during this, and probably 5-7 in the flashbacks? So it makes sense within the show's context.

Yeah the Sakura/ino conflict being about sasuke makes no sense, at that age I would've just thought "oh he's cute" about a guy I liked and moved on, not destroyed a friendship over it. Sakura ino and hinata are all excessively motivated by their crushes, especially because their crushes don't really care. But this is still a good moment for Sakura, one of the reasons I've always said people are over the top in how much they hate her 😂

I actually expected them be harsher on the episode than this. I am happy to see they enjoyed it and Sakura’s moment even if it didn’t save the day. Micky you aren’t alone. There were a lot of people that didn’t like Sakura and Ino stuff because it revolved around Sasuke. It is not my favorite even though I understand it and think it makes sense for their age group.

To be honest I kind of agree with Micky, even as a kid/teenager when I was watching Naruto, I was kind of annoyed that most of the girl were sidelined or motivated by boys ... I get that it's a shonen so it targets young boys and it in no way ruins the show for me I still love it! The ladies still have some cool moments and even as a young girl you can root and relate to the boys! The girls in BNHA have more personality but at the end of the day it's the same, they're not the main focus. Still, love this episode though! I still remember how cool it was to see Sakura go for it and just take those kunai!
