He got informed consent from those women, and then they moved the goalposts and claimed that what he did was still wrong because he was in a "position of power" and therefore consent didn't matter. He wasn't their boss, he was just touring with a troupe that included some young female comedians (and he was younger at the time too). His "position of power" was that he had more experience as a comedian. It's all so silly.
