Btw, what are you gonna do with episodes that are mostly filler or mostly canon? I know it sucks that they had to put some canon material in a filler to force viewers in watching the whole thing. Some canon materials can be very interesting and they somehow connect the dots. I hope you watch them. Just avoid the full fillers. The mostly filler or mostly canon episodes are both important like introducing characters properly. Such as the one in episode 53. :)

One important thing to remember regaring ninja herarchy: It's not based on age. Kakashi managed to become chunin when he was six, and was jounin level when he was around Naruto's age. The same goes for jounins and kages - you can be one as long as you're strong enough, and get the necessary recommendations. Some genin are stronger than chuunin, and some jounin are almost kage level.
