jemma and will were waiting for the sun to come out because they worked out the sun was coming out for a second so they were siting there waiting to watch the sun.

jade

Damn... I've gotta stop reading the comments first. Everyone is so hard on you guys. lol No one's got any chill.

Bisibia

Yeah pretty much.

Nudeldifudel

my favorite part is when iain said this was his favorite episode bc he got a week off lol

Linsey Morris

I don’t know if you guys noticed it since the scene wasn’t included in the premium access, but Jemma’s birthday cake in the video was shaped like a TARDIS. Just a small detail for Rana and Nahid

Bejo

Also we keep telling you guys not to google anything about the show spoilers are everywhere. I’m looking at you rana 👁👁

Christopher simeon

Many of you are using head canon, which is what you personally think is going on but was never mentioned in the show, but you treat it as if it fact when its not. 6 months passed for everyone, not just Simmons. Last vid someone asked a question whether or not time just passed for her or for everyone, and people didn't know. Now everyone is treating that question as if its a fact.

Cheddah Slammer

Y'all goin to be so surprise on the bad guy final form 😂😂😂

Etty Gafa

Wow they need to watch episode 1 all over again, can't believe how the fuck they miss the time jump !? Like wtf, thanks rana for just playing the damn episode !!!

Etty Gafa

I swear in the writers room for this season they were like here is the new rule Fitz can not be happy for more then 2 episodes lol.

Justin Jefferson

One of my biggest pet peeves with other reactors is that they never included moments between fitz and simmons that didn't include action. I hope you continue to put their softer moments in your reactions. They are a fan fave, and that chemistry is undeniable and the acting is so amazing it's a disservice not to. Great reaction!

Namelessnonnie

Remember this episode when you get to 5x5

KuzonFire121

Love this episode great reaction! But I hate the Will storyline just as much as Elizabeth did. I think thats my Fitzsimmons shippers heart talking tho.

Macy

"She was bamboozled." LOL! Best comment of the reaction. But, really good reaction overall. Lots of great questions, speculation and discussion. I'm sure I'll get flack for this, but I actually like Will and Jemma better. Of course Fitz and Simmons have history, but for me they're too much alike which doesn't allow for much distinction between the characters. The fact that it didn't bother me to have Jemma be with Will in this episode, at this point in the series, was a good indicator of that for me.

Yea and Mickey is usually the most out of sync(no offense to you Mickey) He was on it this episode tho. Great job Mickey 👍

Christopher simeon

i'm so excited marketa is back for this storyline, i was hoping after she left last season that she would come back for it bc i know she really enjoys fitzsimmons stuff. "why he look like ward" FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT, SURAJ. when i was watching it i was like that man looks like if ward and hunter had a kid. great reaction and discussion! i love seeing how your theories and predictions compare to mine when i was watching for the first time. this is one of my favorite episodes, i love how elizabeth henstridge got to shine AND we got a killer performance from iain de caestecker in those final minutes. that shot of the flair reflecting in her eyes is probably my favorite shot of the entire series.

Linsey Morris

They filmed this episode in a desert in California which was shot in the summer. That means the temperature while filming was around 100 degrees all while Elizabeth had to act cold due to the lack of sunlight on Maveth(the planet). During the filming she enough got heatstroke due to around 7 days of shooting. You should also react, or at least watch, their San Diego Comic Con Panels where fun details and just all all around goofiness occurs.

Natalie Weed

It was at least 6 months for everyone involved

Derek Willerton

Love this reaction. Careful Marketa your mixing up what you guys thought with what the show said again but your reaction was still awesome.

Christopher simeon

That's why I love this show.

Nudeldifudel

Fitz can't be mad. What happens on Vega stays on Vega.

Aes86

Okay, but from where they are standing they saw simmons have a reaction to that phone a few episodes ago. So it seems like that might have been a hint at enhanced senses

Griff

Love your theories and reactions. I hope you Normies can catch up without getting spoiled. A lot of great & memorable moments ahead. I personally feel like season 1 & 2was the set up, 3 is the transition, and everything after is 🤯.

James Avery

also, this was probably the best reaction video i've seen to this show from you guys, i really liked all of it. The reaction was awesome, the discussion afterwards aswell. All those discussions/theories about time and the FitzSimmons relationship and Will's role were exactly the same things, all of us were discussing after this aired.

Sascha Koch

Remember the sand Fitz found in the monolith's chamber after it opened the day he screamed at it? That was pushed in there when Jemma and Will failed to send the rope through. Just another cool detail, and another way Fitz and Simmons always help each other figure things out even when they're on different planets. Fitz wouldn't have convinced the team to go to England if Jemma hadn't sent that sand through.

Crabby

👎🏾

James Avery

time passed on both planets the same way. Remember when Coulson talks to Fitz and says "it's been months and we've tried everything, so maybe we should accept that she is gone." Then he wanted to inform Jemma's parents about her aparent death.

Sascha Koch

Cozy 4 *cough*

Mten10th

I understand but until we see the uncut we won't know what might have been going on when it was quickly mentioned. Maybe they were momentarily distracted.. I know that's a risk with this show, but it happens.

Calculatus Eliminatus

Another great example in this episode that if you are patient. Most of the things that don't make sense will eventually be explained. Yes, there are holes sometimes but usually, patience is all that you need to get the explanation eventually. I love that the seemingly random act of Fitz shooting the flare and them saying that Jemma saw it, were so perfectly worked into what we see from Jemma's perspective. The odd ritual we saw earlier that leads to the items we find on the planet. Even the wine from the previous episode. It's one of the last things Jemma and Will shared. So when the wine was poured, she lost it because of the memory of the "vinegar".

Calculatus Eliminatus

This was favorite episode and then Season 4 happened and...Elizabeth is a queen!!!

Kimberlan

I don't want to be a jerk, but you guys are terrible at paying attention. It was clearly stated in THIS EPISODE that because if the planet's rotation, sunrise would only last for a very short amount of time. The darkness on the planet had nothing to do with the entity that was there. I don't know why you guys ignore the information the writers provide you just to come up with your own theories.

Mten10th

This is the episode Fitz became my favorite character.

Mten10th

This is one of those episodes where I think it shows how hard you guys work. You keep track of so many things, it's easy to forget stuff. It was easier for us who followed MAOS real time at first airing. :) So the correlation is: when the monolith went gooey after Fitz shot up its case was when the portal opened in the cliff. There were easily a few days between that (which is when Fitz discovered the sand and convinced the team of what was up) and the time they got to England. In England is when the portal opened again, and when Jemma tried to get Will to go for it. That's why Jemma wasn't expecting it. They artificially opened it with the resonance chamber in the castle. And then again when Daisy quaked it open again: that's why Jemma wasn't prepared for it.

Alvin Cura

I think what we saw with Jemma was both PTSD AND the result of being in the low-light and other stimulus environment for six months. Her other senses have heightened due to the lower stimulation levels. Overall a great reaction. So glad to see you all enjoy it. Marketa, this is a great one and this "feel" of things will occur again. Loved the pre-show, Rana. Enough.. Let's watch.. LOL.

Calculatus Eliminatus

Top 10 episode right here. So good. "Why did it take so long for Simmons to tell everyone?" I mean I think that's obvious. She didn't want to tell Fitz that while he was working desperately to get to her she was with someone else. It's no one's fault but it's still going to hurt Fitz.

Heru Muharrar

they said mood...lol

Macy

Hypersensitivity to sound isn't a goddamn superpower lol It's a disease...

Jo

Worst math ever

Mten10th

How do you guys invent so many "facts" about this show. Just pay attention and literally every question gets answered. There was no difference in time between Simmons and everyone else, and Simmons did not come back with enhanced senses.

Mten10th

lmao He's the moon?

Chase Robert Dunn

I love Mickey lol. "Makes sense" while everybody's trippin out xD

Justin Neason

Yeah Will mentioned the sun rises and sets quickly and occurs rarely, otherwise they're living in perpetual twilight.

Jarrod Wild

Also this is where I realized that Elizabeth Henstridge is just an amazing actress. Ian I realized in the last scene of episode 1 season three with his emotional eruption. And it only gets better. Glad you guys are loving the show. I cry for these two every episode...

Andrew Courtney

A Sextant is the word you were looking for. A Device that was used for all nautical travel so ships did not get lost by following star chasers.

Andrew Courtney

The portal doesn't open at random times, it's to do with the moon's or the positions. They said, I just can't remember. Also, they mentioned this in the episode, but the sun rising is rare, but passes quickly. So that's what that was at the end.

Ian Vega

Fitz was spending months trying to figure out how to find/rescue her, so yes time passed the same on both sides. Also the Asgardian dude said the monolith only had the appearance of randomness but there was a pattern. Jemma has figured out from the other side.
