I'm totally fine with the lesbian stuff. It's pretty hot actually. But all they did was say, "Hey let's go on vacation." Suddenly they're holding hands and we pretty much know they're gonna date. That's all. It's just not really a proper romantic journey compared to Aang and Katara's love story. First episode you see there's a possible love interest. Loved seeing Aang asking that psychic about who he was going to marry. Remember their first kiss in that tunnel in pitch black with the big badger moles? There were times of jealousy and some other fun stuff. After some ups and downs the last episode consolidated the ship was for real. Korra is the avatar and is now pursuing her best friend who's female. That's an awesome idea but all they gave us was a milligram of it plus it was completely out of the blue. There was no build up in terms of romance. Was purely friendly up until they started holding hands. No words were exchanged. Not even a telling look or smile. Imagine if they milked Korra and Asami just as much as Verick and Julee. I would love to see their awkward conversation about being more than friends. To be honest I'm really just annoyed they didn't flesh this new relationship out in a new season. Also think about the lessons they could teach with this. The writers are definitely capable of spreading truth. Everything else was flawless.
