Seeing Rana react to Fitzsimmons kind of gives me life. I think those two have some of the best story arcs and are so well written together. Don't worry they DEF dig more into where she was. You won't be disapointed.

This is the season I fell in love with Mac. That small little "damn right". oof. You can tell he really stepped up from his pacifism and his moral compass and loyalty is strong. He may have been working for the "Real Shield" but I think it's because he genuinely believed he was doing the right thing and thought Coulson was compromised. To see him grow is really awesome.

A few more things on rewatch to help out with, though I know you are far beyond this now. Look at the direction of the wind blowing directly IN to Jemma. She was struggling to stand and fight into the wind which was intensifying. As far as Randolph not knowing about the Inhuman outbreak. Though we know that the people changing are Inhumans, the world right now doesn't know that. Its just people changing and alien threat.

I love how little they know. I know that they are enjoying the show, but they have yet to reach the point where they will truly understand that this is a transcendent piece of television. They will learn, and it is so fun watching them be surprised every episode.

As others have pointed out there are lots of call backs. But one that most people miss is when Ward comes in to Von Strucker he says, " I brought Tacos". That's the same thing Garret said to Ward when he came back to him after leaving him in the woods.

Remember, people who give information in this show, give it from THEIR perspective and what THEY have heard. That's doesn't mean they are right. Remember once upon a time Raina said the Skye's parents were monsters. And everyone was like,"ooh, monsters". Well, that wasn't quite the case. Point is, people can get stories wrong or not quite right, so always take what people say about things with that in mind. What Jaiying said was that she only knew about it in stories passed down through generations and that its Kree and intended to destroy our people.

You guys, I can't explain to you how gratifying your reactions are. Myself, and I'm sure quite a few, first got into the show for the MCU connectivity. There are quite a few who I'm sure hung in there for brand loyalty. I wasn't really one of those, because I'm a long-time fan and believer in Maurissa Tancharoen/Jed Whedon (dating back to Dr. Horrible, and maybe before; although I never watched the other Whedonverse shows). But here's the thing: as you grow to appreciate the show, it really becomes more and more epic to be on this journey with you, because in a sense you are experiencing what a lot of us experienced too; and we've had years to grow in fandom.

Two nice season one references here. First and most obvious was the Asgardian professor we first met in the Berserker Staff episode. And second was something we learned toward the end of season one, when they were trying to find the secret room under the Cuban barbershop: that finding secret doors are Coulson's thing.

I just want to say guys that this is what the show is all about. You get so invested in these characters and the story being told. This Is why we complained so hard when you guys would miss the character development moments and make jokes because You guys may have never reached moments like this. You guys got through the weaker episodes so the stronger episodes are even more strong. Thank you for enduring. There are highs and lows in the season but the show steadily increases in quality and season four and five are the best television I’ve ever seen. Thank you for reacting and spread the word to other reactors to give the show a chance. You four are great and keep up the good work.

i have very vivid memories of sweating profusely the first time i watched this episode during that scene of fitzsimmons reaching for each other lol IT WAS STRESSFUL. i also never expected them to get her back so fast but that's just another instance of this show always surprising me. and aw rana i hope you're ready for them to make you cry so much more going forward lol.
