Unfortunately we had a lot going on back when we recorded these and the footage from 3x3 and 3x4 got lost in the shuffle. We are so sorry we won't be able to show the girls' reactions for these episodes. We may consider doing a recap with them in the future before the YouTube releases. Again we apologize for this deeply and hope you can still enjoy S3 reactions from 3x5 onward!

2018-12-23 00:23:19 +0000 UTCExtremely sad that Eko had to go, but the death of his foster parents isolated Adewale even more. It disturbed me greatly then, but came to realize that it was the best possible ending for the character even if he went out early. Eko died on his own terms and you can contrast that to the themes of LOST. He owned his life, his sins, and basically told life itself to fuck off asking for forgiveness. Eko was "proud" to have sacrificed his own innocence and his very soul to spare his own brother Yemi from becoming evil, or a "bad man." If that is not the highest expression of love, bro I don't know what is, and that paradox should have granted him divine forgiveness. And in LOST those paradoxes and polar(bear?) opposite contrasts come up a lot.

2018-12-18 19:10:41 +0000 UTCEko was supposed to have a larger role in the show, but the actor didn't want to stay in Hawaii after his parents died. His home was in London (his parents were Nigerian). He also wanted to direct a movie about his life, or so he said. I really liked Eko too. :(
