Lee can't mold chakra and use it like regular ninja, but he can use the chakra within him for stuff like that.

What’s the point of cutting character’s lines on a halfway. I can say that every line has been interrupted by montage. That’s make no sense. There is about 3 minutes left on fair use timer! It’s kinda annoying

Ok so I got a few things to say, 1. Rock Lee’s character is written so well, they gave us this character who could match up to even Sasuke without even trying his hardest and made him super likable and relatable, someone you really root for. 2. They make him even more powerful showing that Our main cast has so much farther to go in terms of skill, also Lee is hitting Deku levels of not giving up. And Lastly, 3. NO ONE IS TALKIN ABOUT HOW SASUKE IS LITERALLY UNCONSCIOUS DURING ALL THIS, Each of the people he wanted to fight (Lee, Gaara, Neji, and Naruto) ARE ALL OUT HERE DOING CRAZY STUFF WHILE HE TAKING A NAP! He’s gonna be PISSED.

The magic/illusory abilities are genjutsu which Lee completely lacks. He uses chakra to open and control the 5 gates.

Yea lee can't mold chakra to use in techniques.. but chakra is in everyone and everything and acts as stamina and life force so lee's gates do rely on chakra. Neji could technically stop it.
