Great reactions guys. However I am biased in favor of Kimblee. Kimblee says some interesting thoughtful things when you don't focus on him being on the opposite side of Ed,Al,etc.

This is why sub > dub. Also, in the sub, when Ed is impressed by how big Fort Briggs is, Olivier Armstrong says "Want me to rip that antenna off your head!?" Instead of whatever she said in the dub. And then you'll see Ed protecting his "antenna" in the next episode. Yes, call me a fanboi, but I didn't mind the dub until I heard Buccaneer's and Olivier's English counterparts. They sound weak and far less intimidating than their Japanese counterparts. /fanboi Daaang, Navi! /creep Carry on.

The thing about alchemy is that in order to transmute, you have to know exactly what elements you're using and what you want to do with it. In the show it just seems like alchemists put their hands on the ground and magic happens, but it's really all knowledge and skill. That's why not everyone's an alchemist and the 'master' alchemists study and research their whole lives. Buccaneer's crocodile arm can be transmuted, it's just that Ed thought it was iron when it wasn't. If he knew what it was made of, he could've blasted it.

Knew exactly when they'd first met. Exactly where. And remembered his family. Because he tried to kill all of them. And he never forgot even one.

For the Scar vs Kimblee fight, in the manga (and the subbed version), Kimblee brought up the fact that Scar's older brother was bleeding profusely from a wound in his lower left stomach and mockingly said how he could tell he was in extreme agony. In response, Scar took a broken pipe, threw it and impaled Kimblee in the same spot and then asked "The lower left stomach...right?" It was so savage! xD Enter the Ice Queen!!
