Great reaction guys, but I have to admit I thought Nahid would have been more impressed with that opening sequence and the hallway fight scene. Mako and Bolin really are an amazing team and I love their relationship but they are also really gifted benders on their own, and I feel like the show primarily focused on Mako’s individual skills until this season, but now it’s BOLIN TIME. Fun fact, Studio Mir, the animation studio behind this season and most notably Season 2 “Beginnings” episodes also animated the last season of The Boondocks, so in certain frames Kaï really look like Huey and Riley Freeman in that last season. Oh man, I can’t wait for you guys to see the rest of the season

Probably one reason why is because Ming-Hua took over this episode in that fight scene. Especially when she was surrounded by ice and snow. Ghazan would probably not be as powerful in being this type of environment as being surrounded by rocks.

I think what Mickie was trying to say is Ming-hua's natural handicap resulted in her honing her particular element to a more extreme degree than any Waterbender shown in the series so far, because she had to in order to survive and perform basic everyday actions such as grabbing and picking up objects.

Ming Hua is extremely fast and agile thanks to those water arms. I think she has that advantage over most benders! Also hahaha I love the Asami Batman comparison :D

I always felt Ming Hua had an advantage over the twins when it came to waterbending because of her disability. So we now have Zaheer, Ghazan (earthbender), Ming Hua (armless waterbender), and P'Li (sparky sparky boom woman!!). Now we know why Korra was sheltered away for majority of her life. Astral Projection is what Jinora's new ability is called. I believe it's considered a subset of airbending, sort of like how metalbending is a subset of earthbending. The gameplan is basically building up the new air nation. Tenzin and the new airbenders are going to the Northern Air Temple whereas Korra and the others are going to go find more airbenders to send their way. Lin is with Korra because she's trying to protect her from Zaheer, and that's all we know so far by the end of this episode. Studio Mir has been back since the latter half of S2, and they'll be animating these last two seasons so no worries on the animation :) Lol I've always thought Asami was basically like the Tony Stark/Batman of this world!
