You guys need to realize it’s impossible for this Team Avatar to be like the old one. They’re all practically adults, leading their own lives and doing their own thing. They come together in a crisis and are still friends but in the end they are leading their own lives and jobs, and can’t just be apart of a team all of the time. That part never annoyed me. It kinda showed a more realistic viewpoint of “Team Avatar”. They’re not immediately best friends after one year, but they do help each-other when needed and yes the love thing was inevitable. However, the love triangle is coming to a close soon lol.

Little factoid that helps to clear up some things particularly about this season, in ancient Chinese language the number 10,000 is used generically to mean a number so big no one is sure how big it is. This helps explain some of the little inconsistencies in ATLA and LOK, like there having been 10,000 years from Wan to Korra, despite Roku having said he had mastered the elements 1000 times in 1000 lifetimes (this would mean the average lifespan of an Avatar is only 10 years!), and Wan Shi Tong knowing '10,000 things' no matter how many more things he learns.

These team avatars are just different from each other. Different age groups living in different times. The first team Avatar was a grpup of kids who were forced to grow up and become adults in a time of war. Korra, Mako, Bolin, and Asami were born into and grew up in a time of relative peace and deal with postmodern issues and lifestyles. It’s just different

That is actually true. I have been watching the legend of korra many times, but i haven't noticed that until you mentioned it. The fact about every single team avatar character have been busy in their own jobs have made them to lose contact which is sad to think about. This is different detail from the one team avatar from ATLA.

guys, remember that the southern waterbenders started fighting in the morning. And the last action sequence with the siblings was at night. So the south has been fighting the north the entire day, then they get to the leader and the siblings + spirits. I think thats why they have so many problems with the twins, it is a combination of being fighting for an entire day, and the siblings being helped by spirits.

For some people, it just isn't engaging. It's very forced with this annoying back and forth with a relationship that some people (myself included) don't give two shits about. It doesn't add anything to the story for me. It's just annoying and repetitive.

The love triangle really is Nuk-Terrible, but I think the show gets over it pretty quickly. I'm just disappointed at how conventional it is. The Avatar writers usually do better.

I wouldn't say this team avatar is weak because they are much older from atla's team avatar and have jobs and other things going on in their lives that they can't be together all the time. And I feel like Bolin represents a lot of people that don't see their friends for a while. It sucks. but anyways just my two cents. And varrick is so funny Can't wait for the last few episodes!
