What a beautiful series I can't wait to dive back in and watch random episodes of the show knowing what I know now. We're going to be watching the movie this week and should have that up for you next week in a couple of parts! Enjoy the reaction and thanks for being a member of The Normies and supporting the channel! The next show as voted on by you all will be My Hero Academia! We will be spinning the wheel for the runner up anime shows as well and should have that video out on the YouTubez late this week! Ciao!

[Premium Access] **UPDATED Cowboy Bebop - Session 26 The Real Folk Blues Part 2 - Group Reaction

Comments

Bro, i see NOTHING but cowboy bebop

I remember when the trailer for the movie came out like it was yesterday. I was so hyped that I get to see the bebop team one more time.

James Avery

Unless I'm mistaken, it was never confirmed if Spike was alive or dead.

AJ Evers

Speaking of low-fi channels they typically use Samurai Champloo songs to remix and the images. I feel you guys should watch it just because you'd love it and not just for the reactions.

Dale Cooper

We added it back bro. It was a mistake by our outside editors and has been corrected. It wasnt done on person just a mistake that we fixed fam. - Nahid

VIDEO UPDATED!

The Normies

Well now that we've got spoilers out of the way... I advocated for the movie before the ending for 2 reasons... 1. Because I think they needed more time with Bebop since they had just barely figured out the show. But more importantly, 2. Because it gives Spike's death some finality to it. This is it. This is the end. No more Spike and the gang. It makes the impact of the ending with Yoko Kanno's beautiful score more profound. You don't get that if you watch the movie afterwards. It's just a "He died! That sucks.. Well we at least have the movie!"

MarkyO

Nahid's reaction is why I argued for the movie after. I think people arguing for movie before were the people who were disappointed when the movie came out because it was just a long episode and they wanted a continuation. And because they see this finale as so artful, they felt the movie was anti-climactic. For me, I feel like the movie was a great opportunity just to spend more time with these characters that I loved so much. The show wrapped itself up perfectly, but it was so moving and bittersweet that it felt so good to be able to get another adventure with these guys. Just one more episode that fits like it's just any other episode.

Neil Prospect

Jupiter Jazz will forever be my favorite, the music the feels. It's the best episode IMO.

Ruben Lopez

Somehow I knew they wouldn't include the last bang from spike. You guys are so predictable.

Ruben Lopez

I always thought Spike and Faye really like I ed each other but their pasts held them back also I remember my surprise at this ending and also I believe the director said it's up to the viewer if Spike is alive I figure the red Dragon would provide him health care since he was their new leader

Daniel Gonzalez

This was a great ride! Thanks for the reactions, guys. If any of you ever have the chance, check out Super Eyepatch Wolf's analysis on Cowboy Bebop (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvXw_5jlW3Y)." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvXw_5jlW3Y).</a> I feel like he perfectly encapsulates what makes the series so memorable for so many people, and he lays out the themes of the past and regret that's so pervasive throughout the series. Who knows, it may also change your minds about Faye ;P.

"You're gonna carry that weight" is from The Beatles, the last album they recorded together (Abbey Road) and was their way of saying to the fans, All these years we carried the weight for you because you could unload your pain into our music, but now it's your turn and you'll be able to do it yourself. Also a perfect closing line for Cowboy Bebop

outdoorcats

Champloo for the wheel πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

Kamina 1

Definitely rewatch in the original Japanese dub.

Patrick Balot

There is a final episode where its just the characters talking about the show and topics. Its worth a watch.

Raymond Strand

"You're gonna carry that weight"

Lalisa Truong

"You're gonna carry that weight." -- Perfrct closing tagline.

Jereco

Lol i luv that everyone was waiting for the bang i was like no way they left it out.

Justin Jefferson

Seen the show countless times since I was 17/18 (30 now).

SPike

This IS art And that’s special

Jocta96

I’ve watched bebop about 6 times all the way, and this ending countless of times

Jocta96

FMA/FMAB &gt; CB, but sure, for it's time it was.

SPike

Let's give moment of silence for the best English dub in the business.

micheal king

It's the Travis-Taxi Driver (which is probably the inspiration)/Willem Dafoe-Platoon of anime.

SPike

Yeah, the "Bang" part is the most iconic part of the show. It's so iconic that Toonami/Tom/Steve Blum (Spike's voice actor) used it as a send off when Toonami got cancelled way back when. EDIT: Saw the above and thanks!

Legion

Thank you, that moment deserves air and we want to share your emotional state leading to the collapse

SPike

We're asking our editor to add it in. We'll be sending a revised version as soon as we can.

The Normies

Hey everyone we are definitely re editing the vid now to include the 'bang'! Our editor who works on the Bebop vids let this slip somehow but we're on it!

The Normies

BANG. Good reaction guys. I hope you enjoy the movie.

Honestly guys, love you peeps but this is worth a re-edit...

SPike

You turned down the volume of the last song, but the song eludes to the idea that Spike dies in the end. Also, this is why its good that you chose to do the movie after. The movie was made in an attempt to leave the series off on a high note! :)

Yolo Samurai

... and you guys edited it out, eh.

KBM

YOU LEFT OUT THE FINGER-GUN!!!!!!? Seriously?

SPike

Such a perfect ending. An unconventional send off for an unconventional show. I cannot believe you guys edited out one of the most iconic scenes of all time, though.

Joseph Sanchez

bang.

KBM

Same. We're gonna carry that weight.

MarkyO

I'm not ready. I cry every time.
