Creality provided me their Raptor Pro 3D Scanner to put it to the test, and the result is a full-length deep-dive video that shows exactly how I use a scanner like this to create real-world designs in Fusion 360.

Great video! In previous roles I used Leica full sized laser scanners to map scenes that were hundred of metres long, and Faro hand helds to map rooms, vehicle interiors, etc. They all required targets and lots of registration and post processing just to get a good looking and accurate point clouds. I've been intrigued by the hand held scanners coming out as I want to work them back into my work flow. Thanks again!
