Lone Survivor (2013) - WATCH ALONG

This movie was picked out by my monster patron Perry! This movie was so intense and just absolutely brutal. Watching the journey that these men went on when their mission went south was a wild ride. I don't typically watch war movies as many of you know, but I was open to checking this one out. Definitely a great movie, good performances from all the actors, tons of action, ultimately a very sad true story. I hope you enjoy my reaction!

One Vet to another...Thank you for your service brother.

Thank you Lauren for watching this and now that you have I wanted to share something with you and all the other eyes here, I watch this every memorial day and I do the Murph to remind myself and I want to tell all of you guys Lauren included; that we signed up, fought, worked and in this case died...because we knew the person next to us and back home were worth it. You are worth it. If there ever is a shadow of doubt in your mind when depression or anything gets you down let this and all those that came before us remind you if anything else your worth it. Love you guys and thanks again Lauren I nlknow youre not into war movies but I felt if any at least this one might help with that message. Perry

Lt Michael Murphy, for his sacrifice on that mountain, was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. I've heard a saying that applies to these men.."sometimes the defeat of evil requires good men who are skilled in violence." All war is sad, and the losses experienced by the families never goes away.

i havent seen this one!!! War movies are just that...very sad, whether true or imagined. the hero in one is the villain in another. in both, needless tragedy. as long that in the end we remember our humanity. Hero/Villain
