Sins of Love, Renesme Silverstein - Part 5.

It was past dinner time, and in a room were sitting two girls holding some anxiousness in their hearts.

The First Lord of the Order had not attended the courtesy Dinner with the Elders. The Elders were not happy about it. Warick openly condemned Shazan’s behavior and his lack of attention to his responsibilities. To the surprise of Keira and Serafina, Gladrielle also supported Warick on his stand against Shazan. The two of them had never been on friendly terms with each other, and Gladrielle was part of the lobby that had approved and supported Shazan, but now he had not held back on his words. The tension on the table made the dinner quite an unpleasant experience for everyone.

What happened after the Dinner left everyone speechless. Gladrielle had declared his right to Death Trial against Shazan. The girls were not present in the Hall in the evening, and so they were unaware of the things that had transpired there. It was nothing less than a shock to them, but even the people who had witnessed the confrontation earlier couldn’t believe their ears when Gladrielle declared his stand.

“Why would he do that for just a girl he has met today?”

Serafina couldn’t wrap her head around the actions of Shazan. She knew he was not a greedy person like those Elders who wanted that girl for her Powers, which they even didn’t know if existed. And he was a man who dearly loved and cared for his family. Why would he instigate one of the strongest Elders in the Order over a girl?

Keira, on the other hand, was anxious about what was going to happen later at night. The Death Trial meant that Shazan would have to name his Champion. It was apparent to everyone that Warick wouldn’t accept it even if Shazan asked him to become his Champion, and the only other person present here, and who could match Gladrielle in strength, was Julius. No one could ever understand that man. He did most of his things on a whim, and he was not the kind of person who would lay his life for others.

The Great Elders were not present in the Palace. And none of them would be willing to interfere in this matter. And so there seemed to be no one who Shazan could rely on to deal with Gladrielle in the Death Trial. The rules were harsh. The Challenger had the advantage in this matter, but the risk was terrifying. A Death Trial would only be over after the death of the Champion or the Challenger. But then she thought of their Family Alliances and understood what her husband was playing at.

“Keira!” Serafina called out to her.

“Yes?” She subconsciously answered. Her worries were eating her now.

“Do not worry too much about it, okay?” Serafina wrapped her arm around Keira and assured her. “I have talked it over with Father. He is the Supreme Zero, and he said that he would not allow this Trial if Shazan fails to find a Champion. He wouldn’t allow him to be reckless enough to fight Gladrielle by himself.”

Her words lessened some of Keira’s worries, and she nodded to her.

“She’s pretty strong, you know?”

“Who?” Serafina asked.

“Renesme,” Keira answered. “And if my intuition is right, she wouldn’t allow Shazan to fall in danger.”

“Do you trust her?”

“I do, for he trusts her. I can sense it.”

Keira’s answer confused Serafina even more. She knew that Keira had utmost faith in Shazan. She was a perfect Shadow, whose trust in her Master never wavered.

“But why does he trust her? He has only met her today.” Serafina voiced her doubts. “Did she use some ability on him?”

“No,” Keria shook her head and denied the possibility of it. “The bond I sense between them is that of siblings. They are comfortable with each other as if they had always been together. And I know they are falling in love with each other. She’s still a young girl. She may be strong, but she can’t hide her blush from my eyes.”

“Why do you think that is so?” Serafina still had her doubts. She was not someone who would believe in anything blindly.

“I don’t know. Even he doesn’t know it. But I can sense it. The way he looks at her and the way he’s comfortable with her, it’s similar to how he treats and looks at Arianna.”

Keira’s words baffled her. She knew well enough who was the most important person in Shazan’s life. It was his little sister Arianna. Their love for each other was enviable, and they both were the reason why the other would live. She knew that Shazan would never be able to love anyone as much as Arianna. Just the way he looked at her proved that his affection for her was unreal. He was different with her, and he had no control over it.

Serafina had long since prepared herself to never receive as much love for him as Arianna. She knew she could never compare to the little Silverstein Princess. And now Keira’s words had made her a little uncomfortable. There was someone who could evoke Shazan’s feelings similar to that for Arianna. It was hard for her to believe and understand. How could she understand it? He had only met that girl today.

“There’s just something about them that I don’t think we can understand. I did feel uncomfortable about it as well, but what matters the most to me is his happiness. And he was happy in her company. I saw him smile from the bottom of his heart.”

“Huh… You can say that as he loves you and adores you so much.” Serafina complained and sighed. “He has never told me if he likes me. And I am not even sure if he does.”

“Yes, he couldn’t refuse your father when he had proposed your marriage, but trust me on this, he is not the kind of man who would have so easily agreed to it if you were not his type. He knew he could love you, and so he accepted it. He is an honest man, Sera. He would have refused your father if he knew he couldn’t love you.”

“I hope that is so.” She could feel her cheeks burning in her blush. Keira’s words had lessened a lot of her worries.

Serafina had fallen in love with Shazan when she had first laid eyes on him. She was only 12 at that time, and they had met at a party. He was perfect, and he was someone who brightened the surroundings. His presence held supremacy in it that captivated the eyes of people. She had heard her father praise him a lot, and she had never heard her father praise someone so much. Her doubts had vanished in just one meeting. He was perfect in every sense. Tall, supremely handsome, polite, courteous, well-mannered, and he was strong. He was not prideful, but there was an aura of pride in his presence. And then there was a mystic aloofness about him that made the hearts of the girls flutter. She was a victim of his charm.

She soundly remembered how she had returned to her home that night and told her father in clear words that if he ever looked for a man for her, it had to be Shazan Silverstein. Her father had been speechless at her boldness, and then he tried to make her understand a few things about Shazan. She was told that day that he was the kind of man who would always be surrounded by women. He already had a few wives, and he loved his sister Lyanna dearly. And then there was his little sister Arianna who was the light of his life.

The more she learned about him that day from her father, the more she fell for his charm. The thought of him surrounded by women intrigued the young her. She was not naïve. She had met his twin sister, Lyanna. The affection they held for each other was not kept from the eyes of the people. She understood that he had other girls in his heart.

Serafina had prepared her heart for sharing him with the people he loved. All she wanted was to be a part of his life and be loved by him.

“Why are you wearing such anxious looks on your faces?” A gentle voice inquired.

Serafina looked up and found Shazan standing there with Renesme. He was wearing a warm smile on his face, and his hair and suit were messy.

“Where were you?!”

Keira stood up from the couch and lunged in his embrace. Her restless heart was at peace now, and she held him tightly in her arms.

“I went out with Renesme to see the scenery. She has never been here before.” He caressed her head and planted a kiss on it. “Did you attend the Dinner on my behalf?”

“She did.” Serafina stood up and answered. “But the Elders were not happy about it.”

“Oh well… Nevermind them.” He shook his head and smiled some more. “Why were you wearing such an anxious expression?” He inquired Keira.

“Gladrielle declared his right of the Death Trial against you.” She answered and then separated from his embrace.

Keira looked at Renesme who was standing by his side, and then she turned to Serafina and nodded to her to explain what had happened here.

Serafina narrated what had transpired at the Dinner.

“You don’t have to worry about it. Father said that he would deal with it.” She assured him.

“There’s no need for that. Tell Stephen not to worry about it. I wanted Gladrielle to take this path.”

His words surprised the two girls. They looked at him in confusion, and the anxiousness on their faces returned.

“You plan on facing him by yourself? You do know that he is stronger than you, right?” Serafina expressed her worries.

“I know.” He answered and sighed. “But he needs to die.”

“Master… that…” Keira didn’t have words to say to him. She knew how strong Shazan was, and she realized that there was still a major difference in his strength and the strength of Gladrielle.

“Don’t worry, okay?” He nodded at her. “I won’t be fighting him myself. Gerald will be my Champion.”

“Are you certain?” Serafina surprisedly asked. The name of the ruthless commander of the Blood Knights sent chills down her spine.

“I am certain.”

“But would not it be a risk?” Keira asked.

“It’s not a risk for him. He is stronger than Gladrielle. It will not be an instant fight between them, but Gerald will come out as a winner if they do fight.”

The one who spoke these words was Renesme. The two girls looked at her in surprise, and then they looked at Shazan for an answer.

Keira could not understand how the girl would know about Gerald. She only met Shazan today, and the Bloodfallen were not part of the Order.

“Just believe in what she says.” He nodded.

Shazan could see that both the girls were worried for him. He knew that he was doing a risky business here, but he had to eliminate Gladrielle to save his peace in the future. His eyes landed on Serafina, and he felt as if something was weighing on her heart. And he could guess what it was.

He remembered what Renesme had revealed to him earlier. She had told him that it was Serafina who had asked Stephen to propose their marriage. He knew that she had come to develop some feelings for him, but he had not known that she had held those feelings for him for a long time. And now he felt bad for keeping her on the edge all this time.

What kept him for getting too close to Serafina were the circumstances that surrounded them. He felt as if he was not ready to return her feelings for him, and then there was the fact that he wished to let her take her time. But now he realized how negligent he had been about it.

“What’s up?” He asked her as he stepped forward.

Serafina looked up at him, but before she could shake her head, she found herself in his embrace. He held her against him and pressed his lips on her head. Her maiden heart skipped a beat, and then it was in chaos. It was the first time he had hugged her like this and made her feel that she belonged to him.

“You know… There are only three months left on your 16th birthday?” He whispered near her ear.

She embarrassedly buried her face in his chest. She understood what he was saying. It was the date set for their marriage, and she would become his wife on her birthday. A smile crept on her lips, and she closed her eyes. His scent filled her lungs, and the protectiveness of his arms soothed her worries. She now understood that he did have some feelings for her. The earlier words of Keira were still fresh in her mind.

“Shazan.”

“Yes?”

His gentle reply left her unable to voice her question. She wanted to ask him if he liked her, but now she felt as if it was not necessary to ask that. She could feel that he did like her, and he had accepted her as his bride.

“Nothing…” She shook her head.

He chuckled when he heard her reply and squeezed her against him.

Serafina reluctantly separated from his embrace. She wanted to stay like that for a while, but Keira and Renesme were present in the room, and she didn’t think that she was bold enough to hold him for a long time. At least not yet.

“What time do I have to give my answer to the council?” He inquired.

“In an hour, at midnight,” Keira answered.

“I will go over and talk with Julius.”

“You need to change your clothes first. They are messy.” Serafina reminded him.

He halted his steps and looked at his suit. It was indeed messy. The idea of having to change tired him and he helplessly looked at Keira.

“I will do that for my Master.” Keira laughed at his laziness.

The Wise-Blood Palace had different sections, and each Lord and Elder had his own private section here.

Keira led him inside their dressing room and placed her hand on the scanner. The glassed closets opened and revealed several sections. The closet on the right had some of his suits, and rest were clothes for Keira, and the battle gears for Operations. The left side had sections where weapons were placed.

Both of them loved blades and swords, and there were several varieties of daggers and swords in the weapons section. Compared to the number of blades, the guns were limited, and that was because guns were only useful against the weaker opponents.

Shazan took off his jacket and hung it on the stand. He undressed his shirt as Keira picked up a new suit for him. She expertly undid it, and then placed it on the stand.

“You are covered in her scent.” She teased him.

“We were dancing together.” He chuckled and answered her.

He watches as Keira brushed his skin with her Aura. She was cleaning his body as her hand stroked every inch of his torso. Her eyes were warm, and there was a sweet smile on her face. She loved taking care of him and perform such duties for him. She was, after all, his Shadow, and he was her Master.

The faint blush on her cheeks incited the Lust in his loins. She was born with a sensuality that could incite lust in the coldest of the hearts. And to him, she was his bane. It was hard for him to control himself in her presence, especially when they were alone.

His hand drew of her soft cheek, and he stroked it with the back of his fingers. He leaned in on her and pulled her chin up before catching her warm lips.

Keira gasped, and her scent filled his lungs. Their lips sipped each other hungrily, and soon their tongues were dancing together.

“Behave…” She protested.

“I don’t want to…” He refused.

He pressed her against the wall. His hands squeezed her tight waist, and then he worked on unbuttoning her jeans. She knew what was about to happen. Her body was warming up to welcome him. Her lips trembled, and her need for him grew.

She undid his belt, and then unbuttoned his trousers. Her hand snaked its way inside his boxers, and she grabbed on his raging member that felt to be in pain. She was in the mood to tease it a little. She stroked it up and down, and squeezed it lightly.

“Now, who’s not behaving?”

He grabbed on her waist and turned her around. He pressed her front on the wall and urgently lowered her jeans and her panties. Her shapely ass was perfection, but he was not in the mood to appreciate it.

She felt him pierce her ruthlessly, and a seductive moan leaked out of her throat. Her body trembled in pleasure as she felt him fill her insides. He touched the door of her womb, and she agitatedly bit her lip before closing her eyes and resigning herself to the pleasure.

The room echoed with the sound of their grunts and moans. There was an urgency inside of them, and their lust was ruling their minds. He ruthlessly pounded inside of her, and his face was buried in her neck. He grunted near her ear and planted wet kisses on her skin. Her pleasure-soaked moans answered his thrusts and excited his lust even more.

Keira was not reserved when it came down to screaming in their passionate escapades. She moaned without any restrains, screamed as he rubbed against the right spots, and shuddered every time he knocked the entrance of her womb.

Her insides were his home. Her warm walls were his sheath, and she squeezed him in their tightness. Her love nectar leaked and soaked him. And she obediently accepted his assault and bathed in the pleasure he provided her.

They had lost count of how many times they have indulged in their carnal desires since he had deprived her of her maidenhood, and the familiarity they had now made their love making even more pleasurable. The moment she touched the height of her orgasm, she screamed loudly. He couldn’t keep on as her walls cramped him, he bit her shoulder. The pleasure was unbearable, and he burst deep inside of her. She had a gratified smile on her face, and her racing heart was ecstatic. The head inside of her womb was like a drug to her.

Shazan wanted to continue, but they had some things on their hands. And not much time was left. He carefully escaped from inside of her and then picked her up in his arms in a princess-carry. He sat down on the bench and hugged her protectively. He didn’t let go of her until her heart had calmed down. And then when her misty eyes opened and met his, he couldn’t help but voice what was in his heart.

“You are breathtaking… And I am crazy in love with you.” He whispered and planted a kiss on her forehead.

“I would die if you ever fall out of love with me.” She whispered back.

It was the truth of her existence. He was everything to her. It was not the first time she had proclaimed her love for him in such words. He had already heard her confession a million times. And every time he heard these words, his heart trembled.

“And would I ever fall out of love with my Keira?” He kissed on the tip of her nose and tickled her tummy.

“No!”

Keira laughed under his touch and grabbed on his hand to stop him from tickling her, but he used the other one, and only stopped after she had restrained both his hands. Her laughter subsided, and she panted for breath.

“Come… We need to hurry.” She said and got up before resuming what they had come here to do.

They both exited the dressing room after a few minutes, and the reddened faces of Serafina and Renesme told them that they were caught red-handed.

Keira didn’t feel any embarrassment. She never shied away from it. He was her husband, why should she be embarrassed about it? And the ones who had heard their passionate indulgence were her sisters to be. She knew that Shazan had already accepted Renesme in his heart. So she was a part of their family now.

Renesme and Serafina were not as bold as her. Serafina couldn’t even lift her eyes to meet them. And Renesme couldn’t stop giggling. Her giggles added to the blonde girl’s blush. It got to the point where Shazan started feeling a little embarrassed.

“Come on…” He protested. “We were just expressing our love for each other.”

“Yup… We heard it all…” Renesme giggled some more. “It was loud and full of passion.”

“Huh… Stop it now.” Keira patted Renesme’s head and then whispered something in her ear that silenced her. “When he makes love to you, he’s going to hurt you a lot on your first time. Prepare your heart for that.”
