I worked so hard on this, and it's finally ready to be set free!
The addon is included in your subscription and available for download right now!
Rope Tools is a set of, you guessed it, tools to help fellow artists create stunning rope work in Blender. I poured my experience (and frustration with currently available options) into this addon, striving to make the process easier and more efficient. It all started as a simple set of scripts to speed up and improve my own rope renders. Over time, they matured enough to become a standalone addon.

⚠️ Please note: This is still in its early stages, so expect some bugs! Like A LOT.

2025-02-27 18:53:46 +0000 UTCgreat tutorial video clear and concise, looking forward to learning to use it well, I did get another rope tool sometime ago but found various issues and pitfalls that as someone new to blender made it pretty much unusable. Just from the tutorial I can see you've got fixes for a number of those issues built into the tool, very cool!
