Found my copy and yes it was the "Bad(der) Santa" release

2024-12-21 17:18:25 +0000 UTCI believe "Badder Santa" is a different cut from the Director Cut. There was 3 cuts of the film. I think I have that one on DVD somewhere. Thanks that helps

2024-12-21 07:03:56 +0000 UTCIt is the unrated version, released in the US on DVD as "Badder Santa", but might be different in other countries. My copy lined up perfectly throughout. According to a few web sites it has 7 different minutes from the theatrical release, including alternate versions of scenes (probably some extra swearing) and a few additional scenes.

2024-12-20 05:09:54 +0000 UTCFor more Billy Bob Thornton, I highly recommend "Sling Blade" (1996). He wrote and starred in it, and it also marked his debut as a director. It won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and Thornton was also nominated for Best Actor.
