Heavy infantry fighting in unison, shield to shield and with their spears raised they stand against onrushing waves of attackers - regardless the setting, Hoplites fighting in phalanx formation are a powerful image to evoke. As it took more than two thousand years to dethrone the phalanx as the most effective method of ancient warfare, one has to wonder how effective it might be in a fantasy setting, supported by magic or divine powers.
As always, all four variants include FoundryVTT integration for the Foundry Tier and come with a free PDF for all tiers and even non-patrons.
