Welcome to a Step by Step & Exercise Tutorial on Painting White Armor. White NMM and Water. Learn how to use Overlapping Layers and Layer densities to create smooth or textured surfaces in a few easy steps.
Use this tutorial as an Step by Step lesson on Painting White NMM and Water. But also as a Exercise in practicing Use of the Overlapping Layers Techniques. Use soft thin layer brushstrokes to make a smooth surface, or texturized brushstrokes to create flow of the water. Play with different paint densities by diluting paint to thinner and thicker consistencies.

2022-12-06 14:43:14 +0000 UTCHi Damian. I didn't create a steps for the hair process since I changed it during work. I liked the lighter version (less contrast) but I also needed more contrast to define the character better so I decided to darken it up. I didn't used black since black would desaturate the tonal variations. I used prussian blue and burnt sienna umber. There is also red in shades. And all the tones of greens, blues and lilacs are in the highlights of the hair :)

2022-12-06 09:33:26 +0000 UTCJust wondering Alexandra, while going thru tutorial I can see you darken the hair in burnt siena umber and than glazed again with black to deep down values? I'm going to do this next and just want to get hair right as it's my nemesis.
