Ashen Lords Step by Step

Dear Craftworldians,

Today we are happy to share SbS Lesson on Underpainting & Overlapping Layers. Use of Brushstrokes, Tonal Variations and Values in order to interpret Contrast, Volumes and materials.

Miniature Featured in this tutorial is my own Blackshields Space Marines. The Ashen Lords. This model is converted from various bits and parts as well as my own sculpting.

I printed (and rescaled some mini parts) , used some bits from my bits box and add a bit of sculpting to create first of, hopefully many, Ashen Lords characters.

One more update is that we are finally going to a Vacation, this Saturday. So we may be unresponsive next week. We hope to be back relaxed and with batteries fully charged.

When we are at travels topic. This September we will visit Madrid, Spain. We will be judges at Freak Wars Event. We will write more updates on our travel plans and this event when we are back from vacation. If any of you guys are visiting FW or planning to visit, we are looking forward meeting you there. :)
