I'm thinking of having them built more like sidewalks, in segments. I know there are better materials for roads, but Adelheid doesn't have access to that. Concrete is best because of its versatility and quick curing time. It can go into any shape as long as it has a mold, and you can just carry cement instead lugging large stones. As for using expensive materials, that's good, but don't forget it is a state-wide project. The cost is going to be astronomical. At certain locations, using the more expensive materials is fine, but for everywhere, that's impossible. At least, for the current vuldar empire.

2023-08-03 05:22:32 +0000 UTCShe got herself thrown into a huge government project unintentionally. Though, is using concrete/bricks really the best way to build roads? I believe there should be many ways to optimize usage of the more expensive materials when building roads.
