So yeah, I've written ten chapters for this story in less than a week. 20,000 words! So, I'm going to publish this story after I get a cover for it on Royal Road. When it releases, I'm going to set the schedule for once a week.

In the chaos devoid of colors, light or darkness existed an egg. The egg floated atop a thirty-six-petaled green lotus. The lotus was a chaos spiritual artifact, the Thirty-Sixth Ranked Jade Lotus of Chaos.

Space could not be measured, and time flowed irregularly. If any living creatures existed in this space, they would have died in an instant, but the egg floated above the lotus as if unaffected by the merciless environment for an unknown amount of time.

Suddenly, a crack appeared on the surface of the egg. In the next moment, the eggshell shattered completely, revealing a creature with two arms, two legs, a body, and a head. The creature carried an ax in his upon birth, a chaos spiritual artifact known as the Heaven Opening Ax, and the shattered egg shells condensed into a disk with butterfly designs, the Jade Butterfly Disk of Good Fortune, another chaos spiritual artifact.

The creature looked above and spread out his arms. "I am Pangu!"

His voice echoed throughout the chaos, alarming the three thousand fiend gods born before him. Without waiting, Pangu raised his ax above his head and cleaved downward. At the point where he cleaved, a small pearl formed.

Pangu's strike sent ripples throughout the chaos. If the fiend gods had been alarmed, now they were shocked.

The newly born fiend god wanted to use the chaos as nutrients to fuel the creation of a new world in order to complete his way.

Generally speaking, fiend gods were incarnations of the myriad laws, and the earlier a fiend god was born in the chaos, the more powerful they were. However, Pangu subverted that truth, and the firstborn fiend god, the Fiend God of Time, felt that he had zero hope of defeating Pangu.

But he still rushed towards Pangu along with the other fiend gods. Part of the reason was instinct, but the greater part of it was because he wanted to stop Pangu. He had a feeling that if he allowed Pangu to continue, chaos would be destroyed.

Fiend gods were born in the primal chaos and lived in it, and if it was destroyed, it was akin to severing their path to ascension. How could the fiend gods allow Pangu to do this? They still rushed to stop Pangu, even knowing that it would likely end in their deaths.

The Fiend God of Time was the first to arrive, but he did not attack. Instead, he observed Pangu, waiting for a chance.

The first to obstruct Pangu was the weakest fiend gods. Pangu only snorted and swung his ax at them. One swing killed several fiend gods at once.

"All who obstruct my path shall perish!" Pangu bellowed.

From the fallen fiend gods' body, a light flew out and was absorbed by the Jade Butterfly Disk of Good Fortune. The pearl Pangu formed absorbed the body of the fiend gods and grew larger.

Pangu glanced at the fiend gods cowed by his demonstration of strength. He snorted with disdain and raised his ax once more, and cleaved a second time. The second strike rang like a bell in all the fiend gods' minds.

"Haha, I don't care if you want to prove your way or not. I just want to battle!"

A fearless voice shouted. The owner of the voice was a creature that resembled Pangu, but his arms were slightly longer, and fur covered his whole body. He was the Chaos Ape Fiend God.

The Chaos Ape FiendGod swung his cudgel down on Pangu. Pangu retaliated with his ax. "Scram!"

The Heaven Opening Ax clashed against the seemingly ordinary cudgel in the Chaos Ape Fiend God's hands, but to the shock of all those present, the Chaos Ape FiendGod didn't die. He was sent flying back and spat out a mouthful of blood, and his weapon had a deep gash on it.

Seeing this, all the fiend gods started to attack again, but like the first batch, Pangu unceremoniously killed them with one swing.

The Chaos Ape FIend God was born relatively late, but he was the incarnation of the Law of War. The more battles the Chaos Ape Fiend God experienced, the more powerful he was. So, his strength could rank in the top hundred fiend gods.

Finally, right after the seventh cleave, the Fiend God of Time struck.

An immense body resembling Pangu's emerged, but unlike Pangu, the new creature had two large wings sprouting from his back. This was the Fiend God of Time's body. Floating next to him was a giant clock, the Chaos Clock.

He wasn't the only one who decided to strike as several more fiend gods chose to appear at this moment. The Fiend God of Karma, Fiend God of Space, Fiend God of Five Elements, FIend God of Yin-Yang, Fiend God of Samsara. All of them had a single characteristic, all of them were among the top ten most powerful fiend gods!

The first to strike was the Fiend God of Five Elements. "All things are born of fire, water, earth, wood, and metal! Five-element destroys all, Five-Element Disintegration!"

A ray of light containing five colors struck Pangu, and Pangu's paused as part of his skin broke, but soon, he recovered, shocking all the fiend gods present.

"An ant is still an ant no matter how much bigger it is compared to others!" Pangu said as he brought the Heaven Opening Ax down upon the FIend God of Five Elements.

The other fiend gods did not have time to worry about the FIend God of Five Elements as they each displayed their most powerful technique.

"All things exist in space. Without space, nothing exists. Thus, space is king! Spatial Severance!" The Fiend God of Space shouted as he pointed at Pangu.

A crescent-shaped ripple flew towards Pangu, and open landing, a wide gash appeared on his chest, but that too started to heal at a noticeable rate. The Fiend God of Time capitalized on this moment and unleashed his technique.

"All things have time. Without time, there is no progress. No progress, there is no past, present, or future. Thus, time is revered! Temporal Erasure!"

An arrow seemingly formed of flowing silver pierced Pangu's chest where the Fiend God of Space had injured. A hint of blood dripped down Pangu's mouth. He roared and swung his ax, injuring the Fiend Gods of Time and Space.

"All things have cause and effect. Without cause, there is no effect. With effect, there must be a cause. Pangu, you selfishly obstructed our path and slew us. Thus, you must pay the cause and effect! Karmic Shackles!"

All around Pangu, the apparition of all the fiend gods he slew appeared. They shouted in fury and fear and grabbed onto Pangu, wanting to rip him to shreds and drag him to hell.

"Ants should behave like ants!" Pangu said and, with a wave of his arms, destroyed all the apparitions of the fiend gods. He turned towards the nearest fiend god and punched out.

The punch struck the Fiend God of Samara and killed him instantly. The other fiend gods were shocked, but they soon realized his intention as they saw a strand of his truesoul fly into the chaos pearl.

Pangu didn't care about the Fiend God of Samara's actions. As long as they didn't obstruct his path, he would not give two farts about them. He turned towards the other fiend gods and resumed his offensive.

The fiend gods used all their tricks and trump cards, but they fell under Pangu's fist or ax one by one. Finally, there was only Pangu left. He turned back to the nascent world and raised his ax one more time, but he suddenly stopped and turned around.

A giant silver river composed of time appeared in the chaos, and a figure fell out. It was the Fiend God of Time. Compared to his first emergence, he was in a sorry state. He lost two of his limbs, both his wings, and injuries littered his body. Even his lifebound spiritual artifact, the Chaos Clock, was in pieces.

"Pangu, do you think you'll succeed! I'll tell you right now that you'll also fall under the machinations of the Great Dao!"

There was a trace of fluctuation in Pangu's eyes, but he still raised his ax and brought it down.

That was the last the FIend God of Time saw.
