Raphtalia, checking in

I’ve been a little overwhelmed the past couple weeks because I keep getting emails about my gumroad account being banned and now patreon is talking about charging a 30% fee from every new patron that signs up using the patron app on apple. It just feels like one thing I have to deal with after another!
So my gumroad account is suspended till I update all my thumbnails to be very pg.
luckily, the person helping me from gumroad seems to be very nice and helpful. I asked them to clarify exactly what I need to fix because the first automated email I got basically said “there are one or more things not compliant about your account, fix these mysterious thing or things or your account will be suspended in 12 days.” 😂😭
The person was super thorough in clarifying everything and basically said I need to make sure all my thumbnails are pretty pg looking so it looks more like a cosplay account.
They said they didn’t delete my account, they suspended it till I fix the thumbnails. I just haven’t had time to sit down and do it yet. But I will soon!
Anyway I have to be a mom now and fix my daughter lunch and take her to school.

I read about the whole Gumroad "change of rules" thingy, but never thought about them really enforcing it that strictly - especially for "smaller" creators like yourself. At least they are cooperative and suggest solutions though - it's just a lot of extra work, which is annoying af! Are there any alternatives to Gumroad? Just as a last possibility? Anyways, you can do it, Bun! Don't rush anything - that's the most important part! We want you to keep having fun after all! 🫶 (Oh, and Raphtalia looks gorgeous - the silky texture of the lingerie material and all the little laces... love the look! 😤)

2024-08-16 13:59:48 +0000 UTCA few creators I follow just had to leave Gumroad because of their new policies. It's unfortunate :( The apple thing reminds me of playstore charging more for Twitch subs. Mobile platforms just suck ass in general.
