2022-03-27 02:22:12 +0000 UTCI absolutely love this movie. The acting, action, story, writing and cinematography are all absolutely incredible. Iβve lost count of how many times Iβve gone back to it. Also, hot take: I actually like On Stranger Tides. Sure the story is complicated and the missionary and mermaid slow the movie down but in terms of tone, this probably captures the feel of the first film the most. Dead Manβs Chest and At Worlds End were too dark and Dead Men Tell No Tales felt like a parody a lot of the times. Overall, this movie is a 10/10 for me and the fact that my favorite Disney ride was done justice compared to the other Disney movies based on rides makes me so happy.
