Yeah when Collison was on the floor with him. Collison missed games that year due to injury and Russ was the Point Guard during that time.

Like Earl Watson said the best comparison for Ja Morant is BARON DAVIS
Ja is more of a natural at the point guard position than Russ. Russell Westbrook had to learn that position.
(Which is true I watched his come up live at UCLA)

Ja Morant has Gary Payton in him but his explosiveness and swag reminds me of a young Kobe Bryant....and I can honestly see him be the next Kobe.

@Rob J It’s funny that I was watching that trash ass show SportsCenter, and even the Sports Anchors said that Adam Silver intentionally brought the Pelicans in and gave them an easy schedule to make the playoffs. I agree that Zion won’t be around long, and with all the forced SJW and protest shit with the NBA, many people have said they’re not watching.

Ja getting his head beat in in the bubble. Gotta be careful with that generational talent, Zion was supposed to be that.
And I don’t see it with Ja in terms of being a point guard. That drive and kick style everybody plays is trash. And it’s easy to accrue points & assists.

I think the fix is in for Ja Morant and the Grizzlies for that 8th seed. There’s no way the NBA should’ve brought 22 teams to Orlando for an 8 game regular season. But that was to sabotage the Grizzlies, and give the Pelicans a puncher’s chance to get the 8th seed, and have a 1st round match up Zion vs. LeBron (if it works out). The NBA has not made enough money off of Zion Williamson, but kudos for Ja Morant (who I thought should’ve been the #1 pick) for playing hard and being a leader. It also helps when Ray Allen is a former teammate and close friend of his father. I saw where Ray Allen worked with Ja some back in college.

disagree nurkic picked up right where he left off. collins and trent are dogs as well. its a shame for them ariza didnt travel and hood is injured because that is a huge hole at the wing however. i dont have much confidence in melo picking up the slack.

I had been curious to see if he ever was gonna give us a video on his opinion of ja morant I really enjoy ja’s game an his temperament when he’s out their on the floor I also gotta disagree wit his take on the eighth seed I think if ja an that team can get back to the level of play they had during the regular season they’ll keep that 8th spot it’s just too many question marks on that roster besides lillard and McCollum

Iverson led a team full of bums to the finals and then gave the lakers their only loss throughout the whole playoffs Westbrook on his own couldn’t get past the first round

I haven’t seen a point guard impacted a team that much his rookie year since Derrick Rose
