Additional: Why do people order a commission, sign up for patreon then unsubscribe when the commission is complete? Thing is, I have regular commissioners that are not patreons, there's no law that you have to be one to order a comm. It's really frustrating, because as far as numbers go, I never really get anywhere. I see artists giving less content, lower qualiity, more expensive, with thousands of subs. Anyone know wjhat it's about, because I don't get it lol

Patreons dont get extra weight, its just a simple, no frills turn based system, if you do that sort of thing, some one notices and you get called out lol actually ive got commissioners that have never signed up, never even motioned it to them. Id love to know how these guys get 1000s of subs tho

2020-02-19 12:44:56 +0000 UTCI'll tell you probably half the reason is horny energy. They find some of your work, realize you take commissions, askfor the commission and sign up. Plus anyone who contacts you via email and sees you advertising it in your email probably thinks it's a courtesy to sign up while waiting or maybe will think you'll take longer if they don't, whether you say it or not. Those are probably the two main reasons I would think of.
