At first he wanted the michael bay version, but i convinced him that the designs were fecking awful, and I could do more with a cooler more feminine frame. We thought about it for ages, how do you make a robot sexy? We eventually decided that maybe everything you see is like an outer shell, like humans wear clothes... then it suddenly worked.
