This video shows how I do most of my eyebrow textures & the creation of a DIS map. Keep in mind that I am not a professional. I make a DIS map for multiple reasons:
- In case I want to add something extra to the normalmap, like a unique feature or strongly accentuated details like "sharp" wrinkles (see ALT1 DEM's forehead), I can make it softer by using an existing base.
- I use as an overlay in cases when the texture is too flat; it provides a nice bit of realistic volume to the diffuse.
