Q: When’s teh show coming back?

A: Teh new show began officially on June 30. It's called Teh Pwnage. Not to be confused with Pure Pwnage, the documentary. Although “show" is a bit misleading... When we find Jeremy, he's a bit lost, literally speaking, and his output is unpredictable in length, format and medium.

Q: In the Patreon bio, it states you went into a 20 year coma. Does that mean that the movie/TV series/2nd half of the web series didn't happen?

A: Mostly correct – episode 7 onwards is not 'real' to Jeremy in this universe. It's essentially a partial reboot. Loading from a previous save…

Q: So playing WoW sent Jeremy into a full on coma for 20 years?

A: Yup.

Q: Will there be live components?

A: For sure! Both in-character Jeremy and myself out-of-character (OOC).

Q: Will there be any micro battles?

A: There are no micro battles in the plans. However Teh_Masterer was introduced in episode 4, so anything's possible...

Q: The style of the show similar? 

A: The edited story components feel very similar to the early web series episodes. In addition there’s now simpler live and edited non-story components for regularity. Jeremy has a lot to learn and discover about Earth in 2025.

Jarett: Important to note, though: It's not a show in the way Pure Pwnage was a show. That was Kyle's episodic documentary about his brother. Now it's the 'real' person, Jeremy, waking up and re-connecting with the world after a 20-year coma.

Q: What sort of release schedule we looking at? Weekly? Monthly?

A: My intention is to update the Patreon just about every day. Whether it’s a live stream, or a BTS pic, a blog post, a video, a podcast... it’s important to make sure everyone knows I’m here and things are happening. I’m hoping for one weekly edited video, though the first 3 videos are much more difficult from a production standpoint and it’ll be tough to establish the flow until they’re complete.

Q: That's hype. Geoff's not involved at all then, though? 

A: Geoff is not involved, however I've spoken heavily with him about the project and it has his full blessing. 

Q: How will the show be available? YouTube? 

A: YouTube will be the primary video platform, though short or vertical content may find it's way to X/Insta, too. Everything here (Patreon) first, though.

Q: Really hope you can reach the next generation of n00bs. The show was so ahead of its time. 

A: Thanks! I think there's real possibility it will. There's also a whole new generation of adult and/or parent gamers to appeal to.

Q: Will there be a podcast?

A: Jeremy will eventually get to podcasting. Jarett also intends to one day podcast! (very low priority atm)

Q: Will there be unscripted in-character Jeremy stuff? Or is this mostly a scripted return?

A: Lots of unscripted stuff! It's very much a return to the OG web series formula, where the dialogue was often improvised. I'd love for Jeremy to host a call-in advice show.

Q: Will we see a return to the gamer wars? It seems the coma would render most of that subplot moot, but it was one of my favorite subplots of the OG series. 

A: It's not disappeared, but for now very subtle.

Q: Will you be creating any of your own music for the show? Or perhaps partnering with up and coming artists?  

A: I'll continue to do some lyrics and vocals, abut TC (AKA Son1) is helping with the actual music stuff, 'cause he actually understands it (his evil parents forced him into piano lessons at an early age). I have access to the old stuff, too, though my preference is to keep it as fresh as possible.

Q: Any games you/teh_pwnerer have been super into you'd like to shout out?

A: Yes, a few. My three most played games this year would probably be Rocket League, Bloons TD6 and Switch Golf. Keeping in mind that Jeremy has missed several console cycles, generations of games, even whole new genres... there's a lot for him to cover!

Q: Has it been fun and easy or hard and scary bringing Jeremy into today's (much different) world. (More noobs than ever) lol 

A: Both! The idea generation is so fun and natural. The scariness comes from the external stuff: what if it totally sucks balls and fails? what if I embarrass my kids? Etc.

Q: How is Jeremy gonna handle this new era of gaming? 

A: Honestly, he keeps surprising me.

Q: Some of my favorite PP memories was chilling/ breaking the forums waiting for new episodes. Plans to do YouTube premiere or similar live chat going into the release ? 

A: Yes, I think those features are amazing. The options and opportunities today are mind-blowing. There’s a lot I'm probably not even aware of, so please suggest away!

Q: New YouTube channel or using the KylePP account?

Q: What length of time per video/content expected?

A: Too organic to predict, tbh. Anywhere from 1 minute to 10 minutes, but probably not often longer than that. Much of it is designed to be strung together, so it forms a larger watchable piece in the future.

Q: Are new signed bandanas rubbed on Jeremy's balls gonna be sold or are we stuck with liek 20 year old balldanas?

A: Definitely offering new ball rubbed and personalized bandanas. I'm eager to have some creative fun with merch, tbh.

Q: Why now? Can’t say I’m displeased, but curious about the timing.

A: It feels right. Maybe even categorically imperative. Working on it has been cathartic. I hope it brings laughs and connects people, but really, it's just something that I have to do.

Q: What camera is being used to film? Anything fancy? Or anything so simple its lols? 

A: Ahh! It's a small blend, nothing overly fancy because it's not core to the experience. Mostly shot with an iPhone 13 Pro as of July 2025, along with a couple of friendly drones.

Q: Do you plan on having any different tiers for Patreon subscribers? Or will it just depend on how things go? 

A: Keeping it simple for now, as-is with two tiers.

Q: Any chance Dave will make a surprise appearance?

A: I wouldn't bet on it, but we still talk and it's not completely out of the cards. We first need to be on the same continent at the same time. If it happens it would be a one-off cameo sorta thing, not a recurring character.

Q: Any talks with others about cameos/returns? Tagi, Doug, Dave? TV series or movie cast? I don't think it's absurd that all of those coma dreams based on real world people that Jeremy knew.

A: It's all humble beginnings now -- just a bootstrapped family operation. Depending on the show's XP level I could take different or expanded forks in the meta road.

Q: Will you guys go to gaming conventions or some sort of LAN Tournament to pwn some n00bs for an episode? Just how you and Dave did back in the day?

A: Sadly there's no 'guys' yet, just me and teh fam, but that works perfectly well given the story situation at the outset. Hopefully it'll be 'guys' soon enough, but until then the scope of the show is very simple, like the earliest web episodes.

Q: What is making you decide to move back to sketch/mockumentary form? It seemed there was a chance that you’d take the character down the path of a DrDisrespect style streaming character. Was there any particular reason you’ve moved back to your roots here? And do you feel that returning to the format gives more options?

A: I don't consider Teh Pwnage a sketch or mockumentary! :) In the PP universe, Pure Pwnage was a documentary on the life of Jeremy. Now this is Jeremy, the 'real' person, interacting with 2025 in all the ways (eventually) people do in 2025. But he's “real”. In fact, I'm a fan of the idea of never mentioning, outside of here on the Patreon, that he's a character. People still believed Jeremy was real even after throwing micro balls… There are many people who won't doubt for a second that he's this real Canadian dude out there.

Q: So in reality, June 30th marks the launch of the real Jeremy as opposed to any specific content? 

A: Essentially. It's also exactly 20 years since Episode 7 was released (June 30, 2005), which I thought was pretty cool.

Q: Will there be 'walk n' talk' scenes?

A: There will be many, many walk n' talks. Walk n' Talk is core to my being.

Q: Does teh_pwnage veto a lot of the web series and teh movie if Jeremy’s been in a coma for 20 years? 

A: Not necessarily. The episodes were made. But how? Maybe Kyle has the answers, if we can ever find him.

Q: What’s something you hope everyone watching the new era of Jeremy keeps in mind? Whether it be a changing of expectations or vibe. 

A: This guy has never seen an iPhone. He's never seen public hordes of people staring zombie-like at their hands. He's never seen a Wii, let alone a Switch. ‘The Apprentice’ had just started airing...

Q: Is the new content going to involve an overarching narrative storyline that continues over time or is it going to be more focused on individual pieces of content that stand on their own?

A: Yes, there is an epic overarching storyline, though most pieces will stand on their own.

Q: Jarett. Have you rewatched the original series are do you find it hard to watch old videos of yourself/acting? 

A: I find it easier now than before. There's even an "awww" factor to my young age and bad acting moments.

Q: When writing the script or outline for this, what changed the most? Was there anything that changed drastically that you can tell us you won’t be doing?

A: Because it's been like 3 years of slow development, and the social and political atmosphere has become increasingly crazy in that time, I made it a priority that Jeremy's mindset remain more positive overall, which also ended up funnier. He has genuine good-faith engagement with the world. Complaining all the time, it turns out, is not very funny or good for your health!

Q: Everything that you've stated here sounds so exciting. I did want to ask. With the paid OOC content, are you separating it into the tiers, or will both n00bs and pr0s get access to it all?

A: Ultimately I don't want to keep any Patreon content out of n00bs hands, 'cause how else are they going to den00bify? The n00bs may not get to see the OOC stuff live, but they’ll get the VODs the public won’t.
