In the heart of a secluded research facility outside of town, where the lines between innovation and ethical boundaries blurred, Dr. Vortex embarked on her most audacious project yet. She glanced at the file of her latest subject, Theo, a nervous fox who had come seeking treatment for what he thought was depression—a common struggle during the tumultuous years of late adolescence.
Dr. Vortex, with her meticulously crafted facade of concern and professionalism, welcomed Theo into her office. Her mind whirred with the possibilities; here was a young mind ripe for manipulation, someone who could be transformed entirely under the guise of medical necessity. Theo was perfect—intelligent but not overly so, and very naive, making him the ideal candidate for her twisted ambitions to create a perfect and easily controlled assistant.
"Ah, Theo, come in. Have a seat," Dr. Vortex purred, her voice laced with a sinister undertone that Theo, in his innocent trust, completely missed. "I've reviewed your symptoms. You're experiencing a phase of adolescence, but what you're feeling is more than just depression. It's an imbalance that requires a very specialized treatment."
Theo, desperate for relief and reassurance, nodded eagerly. "Thank you, Doc. I just want to feel normal again."
Dr. Vortex smiled, a predatory glint in her eyes. "Trust me, Theo. You'll feel better than normal soon."
