Pride Project - WIP sketches
Added 2020-08-10 22:45:24 +0000 UTCI don't usually commemorate or celebrate many things, but I decided to make a bit of an exception this year.
These four was a little something I started back in late May for various reasons. I feel a genuine love for these characters (and quite a few others, too), but there's still a lot of second-guessing myself around many of their stories. So putting these to paper (or... well, digital canvas) trying to capture the defining moments of their respective personalities and arcs was quite cathartic, in a way.
But it then ended up sidetracked by my life in general and also royally screwing up in the anatomy department.
When I got myself a bunch of poseable mannequins, it was a tremendous help, but I didn't think I'd do much with the concept except for practice. But then one of my patrons used his patron rights to ask me to finish these, so here I am, slowly nudging them forward.
(There will definitely be a comic before these get finished, at the very least.)
