[Comic] Reason to Bend

Back when Icebrood Saga began, I met two my new favorite charr. One of them is Flame Legion "Imperator" (quotes included) Efram Greetsglory, the other is the charr shaman leading Ash Legion meta event in Grothmar Valley, a young fire elementalist called Brightblaze. While I may have stolen the latter for mostly silly headcanons (he is not officially named Nero...), the former has a story that genuinely grabs me.

There's just this overall sweet, sweet irony when you realize that Flame Legion (aka the "females should stay in the kitchen" legion) is now being led by a charr whose strongest motivation is his little daughter's future and freedom.

This is a little something I wrote way back, when the episode first came out, and wanted to eventually turn into a comic. I can't say I'm exactly 100% happy with the result, but... eh, it's done.

... although the background always makes me feel like Nero should just burst into singing The Sound of Music. I guess overly-idyllic rolling lush hills just have that effect on people.
