Patch Schedule Changes!
Added 2025-11-15 14:29:25 +0000 UTCHello Sinners,
Today, we wanted to update all of you the development cycle. We have decided to do away with mid-patches, as I felt I didn't have enough time to improve the code base a significant amount, and I would like to spend more time developing our vampire game as well. We would rather deliver one big and well looked over patch, rather than a patch with minor bug fixes and additions every two weeks.
As such, we decided we would rather tease content and show snippets of what's going on leading to patch day, to keep you all in the loop, and to run polls when we are undecided on certain aspects.
We appreciate your continued to support, and to update on what's coming - there will be an overhaul of UI, voice lines are going to be able to lowered or muted(I am dumb and put it as sound not voice HEHE) so you can mute them if you don't like them, and there will be some more sounds/scene reworks. The introduction will be altered, and some things will be touched up, as I've been rewriting a lot of the code to make new systems function properly; and to make the game a bit more detailed.
As far as patch scheduling goes, we will still release a patch for the game at the end of the month, but going forward, we will be adjusting our post scheduling to accommodate adding a new game to our cycle. As such, both games will be updated every two months - with the release of our first rendition of the vampire game being at the end of December.
The new game will be on a tier above and cost more, but Patrons will gain access to both titles and receive updates for both. There will always be a patch released every month for either of the games, but the two month window gives us a bit more time to work on the game before we release the patch to refine and hone on the edition of the game. We will be releasing teasers of the vampire game leading to release on occasion.
The reason for this shift is that we need time to get more familiar with the systems we're utilizing for these games, as well as the animation software that we'll be using for future improvements. We thank you for your patience, and our code monkey(me) is hard at work burning lines of documentation and lore into their retinas.
Thanks everybody~
