For a first time watch you're obviously not gonna pick up on everything, as it was for me XD. And yes, Genthru did explain how his ability works and how to deactivate it. You do have to say that when you catch him. Don't forget now that there's three of them, all they have to do is place their thumbs together and set off the bombs. None of them know it, so there's no fighting chance for them.
