2024-11-28 05:18:46 +0000 UTCJoey, so glad you’re feeling better! Some clarity, if you’d like, or at least my understanding of the ep. when I watched it (no spoilers of course). Jayce did not simply grow a beard in seconds, lol, they were showing us a time lapse. He was down in that cavern a long time before he gets out. Remember act 2 started with a time jump. I’m assuming several months (Cait’s hair was longer). This ep. is what happened to them during that time jump. And with Ekko, it’s like his consciousness was pulled into that alternate reality’s Ekko, so when they get the hextech to work, before pulling him back to his reality, it separates them, thus 2 Ekko’s. Oh, and since S1 was a long time ago, you may have forgotten the job incident and how it went. Jayce only had those unstable hex jems. So it looks like the explosion still happened, only in this reality, Vi didn’t survive the blast, and we see an enforcer arrive bc they didn’t escape/run from them. Powder had pocketed the other jems before the blast and that’s why you see them at the end (she didn’t use them in mouser and blow up that building). Later, Heimerdinger (I think) and Viktor are at Jayce’s apt. and his work is taken to be disposed of safely. So I’m assuming it was and maybe even that Viktor never showed up to save Jayce, so he may be dead in that reality, and so, no hextech, cause it was only stabilized and used after this incident.
