Love the Code Geass reactions and it took me a long time to figure out the facts regarding C's World, the Thought Elevator, Code and Geass because there won't be a single factual answer and a lot of the character's own interpretations. I think it would definitely help if you were aware that Code is the tattoo on the body like C.C.'s forehead and V.V.'s forehead (which disappeared when Charles' took his Code) and Charles' palm. It shows that they are immortal and can grant the Geass power through contracts which is the symbol in the eyes. Stage one of Geass is only one eye while stage two is both eyes.
