AOT 🕊️ Finale Reaction (Uncut)

Comments

bro skipped the end credits like an idiot

Majoz

why u skip the end?????

psychotaco343

Bro you skipped an important part of the ending 😭😭

KatyRose

Please react to AOT rewatch with the hindsight you have now, there's sooo much cool things you'll notice now that you didn't before and trust me its well worth, there hasn't been another anime or show as rewatchable as AOT is.

DerekKid

The video that introduced me to your channel was when you reacted to the first episode of this show. Watching this last episode with you is sad cause I’m gonna miss enjoying your reactions to aot as it has finally reached its end.

8BitGdHaxz

Dude you literally skipped the credits. It showed Mikasa and her husband (hinted to be Jean) and child visiting Eren, Mikasa visiting him one last time before dying (still wearing the scarf), decades and centuries go by as Paradis becomes advanced, a helicopter crashing into a building, rocket launchers placed by Eren's grave fighting against enemy planes bombing them, then nukes blowing everything up, then centuries going by leading into the post credit scene.

Agent X

My two cents for why Ymir was with Mikasa was it’s said that the Ackerman’s serve as King Fritz’s shield, so Ymir is really Ymir Ackerman (maybe 😅) but she didn’t have the strength to kill the King herself. So she left that to Mikasa to finish what Ymir couldn’t.

Ashley Martin

I think the tree coming back was just an homage to the tree that Ymir found. I don't think there are actual titan powers in there, but maybe I interpreted that wrong. What I really disliked was not having more time with the main cast as fully grown adults or elders. And not explicitly seeing the true aftermath of the rumbling in depth 1-50 years later in Paradis. But that's kinda just up to preference. It would've been nice to see a little scene with narration along the lines of, "Greed, violence and ultimately war will always be a constant within human civilization. However, due to the aftermath of the war between Heaven and Earth the island of Paradis and it's inhabitants live in peace for the next 200 years" all while showing the main cast slowly grow up into elderly people and eventually die. Then showing the cycle of war repeat. But the past 2 paragraphs are all just up to personal preference lol.

Ritik

The end credits had a timelapse of the next 2000 years, I’m surprised you skipped it.

Dingusdoofus

I think for me, it takes away from all the pain and effort everyone went through. It took 2,000 years and (basically) an apocalypse to end the Titans. But now it can all begin again? The tree just keeps coming back? What was the point, then? Why did everyone suffer so much, only for it to basically be pointless? To me, it takes the wind out of my sails. It felt bittersweet- but at least we had won. Until the end credits scene. 🤦‍♀️😅

Ace of Kpop

Bruh! When Levi killed Zeke and how you casually just calmly got up and then lost it later! 🤣

mwahavip v

Did you ever end up watching the ending credits!? You will be even more surprised. We want to know your thoughts! Also, the Mikasa thing is Ymir was looking in her head the whole time, pushing her to kill Eren because Ymir was too weak to kill the king, and Mikasa was strong enough to do it. It was the way to eradicate the power of the titans and also to set her (Ymir) free by letting her soul die in peace after living in a nightmare for 2000 years.

mwahavip v

I share the same opinion with you, but out of curiosity what didn't you like about it?

Ritik

With humans, war is inevitable, period. However, if Eren had succeeded in wiping out humanity outside the walls then the rest of the cast would've lived in peace for longer. Which honestly he could've done VERY EASILY by just making all the Eldians forget what was happening until he killed everyone.

Ritik

Why did it take 2000 years for her to find someone like that though? Situations like that (i'm referring to this in what you said, "leave the one she loved and let go") are fairly common...

Ritik

I was shocked you skipped the credits sequence, it was one of the main reasons I watched your reaction. I hope you end up reacting to it in the vid you post to YouTube, otherwise you're missing an important part of the story

Robunite

also I believe Eren's VA harmonizes throughout parts the song but I honestly can't say for certain, especially because I've never been good with selectively listening to the background vocals in harmonies. But I wanna say I can hear some of Yuki Kaji's voice in there, because I like to think I'm pretty well acquainted with his voice lol

Haku

The ending was all pretty sad, nothing to cry over but still ached in the heart a bit, but when the ending song started where Mikasa was sitting under the tree and the song starts with HER voice actress on the vocals, that made me nearly tear up.

Haku

Honestly, I'm content with the ending up until the post-credit scene. I wish that wasn't in there; I'm not a fan. But, overall, I'm bittersweet yet content 👍

Ace of Kpop

Watch the credits if you want that punch you were looking for...

Jouvanne Thomas

The whole point was that people WON’T stop fighting and that selfishness, greed, and fear are parts of us as people that you can’t get rid of. The fact that everyone keeps fighting is one of the main themes of the show. It’s dark, it’s depressing… but you never really got AOT if you thought it would end with world peace or something like it

Sam

maybe but also it shows the realism of humanity were incapable of peace no matter how much time passes theyll always be another war maybe if eren succeeded in killing everyone it would of been the ending where war never broke out again

liam joyce

not a happy ending, eren needed to die. but the final outcome where his people are still fighting is not what should have happened imo. everything he did ended up being pointless. at least in the manga where they show into the future a bit more

nicholas

Damn this comment made me start cryin all over again

OnikeNew

I remember getting lost on Joey's channel cuz i was searching for youseebiggirl reactions. I saw how amazed Joey was and I saw everything I wanted to see in a reaction. When I found out that he was reacting to aot on patron, I knew I had to come here. It's been years and I loved every moment rewatching aot with Nato. Seeing him getting sentimental got me feeling heavy. It's not just the story of aot but sharing this with someone who enjoys the show like Joey does makes all the difference. Glad I found you man. From your boi, axololttt

axololttt

Joey, you should have watched the credits scene while the ED song was playing🥹

I just want to point out, just in case you don't remember, that when Eren erased Armin's memories and he came back to the boat, that was the part where you said "Eren brought you there!" in your last AOT reaction. The part where Armin and Annie were having the talk. So yeah. Eren did. Eren was talking to them the whole time. 💔 I can only imagine that while Eren was doing the Rumbling and talking to them, he's crying inside that Attack Titan's mouth. 😢

Kingfischerrr

A theory on why Ymir was watching Mikasa was because somehow they are both slaves as Ymir was a slave of King Fritz while Mikasa was kinda also a slave to Eren as her king/host to protect. They were not only slaves by formality but also slaves of their love. The headaches might be Ymir peeking through Mikasa's mind because Ymir has finally found someone who has the same case as hers. Ymir and Mikasa both loved their masters and could not leave them but ultimately Mikasa showed Ymir that she was able to break free. Everyone is a slave to something or someone and it's possible that Mikasa was the only one truly free. Mikasa was able to achieve true freedom.

Christian

I believe the part where Eren and Mikasa was shown to escape together was what Eren showed to Mikasa in order to let her be with him even if it was just for a short while.

Christian

Yea my thoughts exactly. I think a lot of them wanted like a happy ending… which is not the point of AOT lol

Sam

attack on Titan is one of the greatest stories ever written yeah the ending had some problems but I dunno what them crying ass manga readers where on about saying it ruined the whole show I thought it was a solid ending to a masterpiece of a anime

liam joyce

Omg it makes the story feel even more complete now. I’m glad I didn’t see them at first low key.. those extra scenes were depressing af

Joey Nato

Disagree, even tho Hange’s did hit hard

Sam

Hange death hit way more than Eren 😂

KevUrb

Watching AOT with you has been a blast. You served up another great reaction. I found it to be a satisfactory ending, which was a pleasant surprise considering manga readers reactions. It hasn’t quite sunk in yet that this is really the end of AOT. Watching this anime has been such a rollercoaster of emotions, but I enjoyed the ride.

Jazz

The feels.. unreal

Kennut

Thank you for joining us on this journey! ❤️ BTW before you get flooded with “You missed this part…” Try giving the credits another try. There’s some scenes you missed. 🙃

Ohitsjustliz

I've read the manga so I kinda know what will happen but I haven't watch it yet so I'mma watch it with you Joey LFG!!!

Kingfischerrr

The way Mikasa and Ymir were connected to my knowledge: Ymir was waiting for someone to show her that she could leave the one she loved and let go. Mikasa showed Ymir that by killing her lover. At least that's what i get from it

Kyle Jamerson

Heart broken...
