2023-11-01 01:27:02 +0000 UTCJoey I think you have missunderstood how the testing gate works. There is only one testing gate, but it's segmented into 7 different doors. You can see the outlines of every door, along with numerals (I think it's roman if I remember correctly) above each door. And so when you go to open the door, the door "responds" to the amount of strength you push with, and opens the door that matches your strength. So for easy math and ilustration let's just say door 1 requires 50 kg of force to open, and door 2 requires 100 kg. If you put in 75 kg of force when you push, only the first door will open but if you go above 100, the first door and the second door will open at the same time. And for context which they mentioned earlier in the anime, when Killua came home after the hunter exam, he opened all the way up to door 3 all by himself. Which is just the show telling you that Killua is far above the others in terms of strength. And also is a subtle hint how the Zoldyck family is "from a different world". Where everyone is insanely strong.
