2023-10-04 04:51:11 +0000 UTC(Just my opinion) I think Envy transforming into a soldier and killing that innocent ishvalan girl was still the actual trigger for the war but Bradley and Father were able to mask the fact that they wanted to use innocent Ishvalan people’s lives to create philosopher stones, with the war that they basically started. So I think Marcoh feels responsible for causing the slaughter of the ishvalan people because he knows the true purpose behind the war and took part in making the philosopher stones w their lives.
