I have watched this episode several times... This is the second time I'm watching your reaction... And I just now caught that each time Deku has been brainwashed he has seen/ interacted with his vestiges. That's damn cool because he's basically chillin in his sunken place with his vestiges. Like his soul has been locked in his body just like the vestiges are.
