Just like the Clovis, (yellow hair guys hes talking to at the end) who is his older brother. Clovis recongized him because they are brothers and knew each other before the shooting scene on the stairs in the first episode, that shooting scene is what made Lelouch hate his own family. None of that is a spoiler, I left out anything that wasn't explained yet.

When did he play him in chess?" When they were kids at the villa he said lol. I know reacting and watching is way different than just watching so you can't catch everything, I just find it funny lol.
