Do any of you use Funimation? I was wondering if someone could tell me if they have actual subtitles (NOT closed captions!) for English/Dubbed animes on Funimation.
You know how we watch My Hero Academia in dub here, but the subtitles suddenly disappeared? I'm trying to get those back so I'm wondering if Funimation is the answer to that. I WANT SUBTITLES ON MY DUBBED ANIME!

Crunchyroll and funimation are slowly becoming one, So i wouldn't recommend subscribing to funimation at this point in time

2023-01-07 10:56:39 +0000 UTCfunimation you can alter subtitles to be how you want it would be under "my account", then under "preferences". under preferences they have subtitle and captioning settings you could change font size, color, and backround which would include colored backrounds or they have a none\transparent option which is what i use i checked my hero and there's no box/cc, just the letters however you set in your preferences.

2023-01-07 03:32:08 +0000 UTCglad you are having subtitles on the reactions again i really like having them because sometimes its hard to hear exactly what they say when you are talking while the show is playing and it seems easier for you to follow as well so this is great.

2023-01-07 03:31:52 +0000 UTCOk, I'm going to try Hulu out since I'm subscribed to Hulu and apparently it's the same playback engine as Funimation. The customizing subtitle option to make them look like typical subtitles I think works good enough. Also, I'm going to upgrade so I don't have ads running during our uncut reactions 😂 I'm going to try this out, just let me know if you hate it or even notice a difference for the next couple reactions I post. ..& obviously HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who responded/experimented/researched and helped!!!!!!!!!!!

2023-01-07 03:23:10 +0000 UTCIf you're talking about the look of the words people are speaking, you can edit the size (small, medium, or large), the color of the words (white, black, red green, pink, light blue, dark blue), and the color of the "black" bar (transparent/ none, black, white, red, green, yellow, pink, light blue, dark blue). You can also make the text semitransparent.
