It was pretty quick and subtle so idk if you saw it but Jeremiah was able to eject from his Knightmare before it exploded. But yeah, as of now we have two 7th generation Knightmares (basically the most advanced in technology): Lancelot and Guren Mk2. As for who engineered Guren, they casually mentioned a name: Rakshata. So there's two genius engineers (the Elon Musks of the show) Lloyd who made Lancelot and this person Rakshata who made Guren
