Yeah there definitely is a lot of symbolism with color with the red and blues. I just re-watched the intro to see what scenes you're referring to, and it seems like in both those scenes where Light has blue hair, he also has red eyes, which makes me think that they are symbolizing that he is both Light, and Kira, where Kira is the more evil person with red, but Light is good. (Though it's probably debatable if Light, Kira aside, is actually a good person, which highlights Light's interesting dichotomy as a person.)

2022-10-27 10:48:12 +0000 UTCSomething that I find interesting regarding the whole blue and red thing symbolizing good and evil, is that in the intro song, there are a couple of moments where Light is colored with blue. It isn't the same shade of blue as what they give L, but I wonder if that is supposed to say that Light isn't completely bad
