I don’t think Loid knew going into it that Yuri worked in intelligence. He was just open to the possibility, because he knows his job and he’s waaaaaaay better at it than Yuri! And then as soon as Yuri launched on his fake story, Loid was sure. I really like that you’re prepared to rewind to re-watch things that you’re not sure you’ve understood or things you think you might have missed. While it’s infinitely better to watch subtitled versions, sometimes things can go by a bit quick, especially if there are two people talking.
