Walkthrough and updated bug list
Added 2020-10-29 04:59:52 +0000 UTCI heard about a couple issues so I'll try to tackle those this week:
- It's possible to run out of space in the inventory because the game was not designed to use a slot more than once. Working on a fix now.
- At least one person had trouble deploying Michelle in the lecture hall. Anyone else unable to do as the game instructed you?
- At least one person got Michelle to appear inside her apartment after her parents came to intervene. Her apartment should be off-limits after that daymare, and the game should cliffhang on the next day.
Can anyone else confirm #2 and #3?
In case you get stuck and can't tell if you're bugged or just missing something, here's the basics of what should happen, beginning at Chapter 2:
- When you get the first daymare, go to Michelle's apartment.
- To get inside, check the peephole once before knocking, then twice after knocking.
- Go inside, give her orders.
- Nothing major for a little bit.
- Drink hobos until you reach Level 4.
- Pickup Michelle as your escort.
- Take her to the university.
- She gives you access to the student center.
- You make your way to the library where you meet Brendan.
- You ask the right questions of Brendan which gets Michelle to take you to Reuter.
- Inside Reuter you go into the lecture hall and ask 3-4 questions of the professor until she's tired of you.
- The game will teach you how to deploy an escort. You drag the escort onto an area or object and if there's a function, it should initiate. In this case, when you drag Michelle's icon onto the left arrow, Michelle closes the lecture hall door so you can do what you need to do.
- You'll then be able to dominate Professor Lind and take her upstairs where you can interrogate her then send her on her way.
- After this, the next time you sleep Michelle should automatically return home and you'll get a daymare in which her parents show up.
- Revisiting Michelle's apartment should reveal that the apartment has been cursed and you are unable to enter or even knock.
- The next time you sleep you should get one more daymare revealing the priest and his connection to Dr Van Helsing. To Be Continued.
- The game should then return you to the warehouse where you can continue play.
