Iudex is quite the funny entity, I can't wait for them to have to interact with Salvos! I wonder if the Matriarch is changing form in some way π€

2024-12-22 22:33:15 +0000 UTCWhen reading it, that possibility didn't even enter my mind xD Maybe it's Salvos. But I'm still leaning on it being a Matriarch skill. She has to show more than just this. Her performance vs Archangel so far is worse than when the GOAT Agarus when he fought the Beast xD

When i was in highschool, i felt like i was not properly keeping up and neglected more rest than i should have. Which resulted in not getting done more than if i had done less. And i also ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks with myocarditis (which gave me time to reflect). This probably won't happen to you, i just wrote that as context. You often post on weekends as an independent worker you can choose your own schedule. Additionally i would choose atleast 2 days a week where you not only take a break from work but also from your responsibilities. So you can really take your mind of the Topic. If you are not doing that already.

You see, I am a programmer... and sometimes I am given a boring project during which I find something more interesting to do and end up chasing a rabbit into the woods, as it is. This happens to be one of three authors that I consider my favorites, which is interesting, because all three of my favorites are indy authors. That said, Sometimes you need to treat them like the proverbial Russian space ship and beat them with a wrench when they forget what they are about. Otherwise, you get a bunch of new books and series sprouting and years pass before any closure on past books!

They show that things happen even if Salvos isn't there to witness them. And they build up to and show the stakes of Salvos' actions. I agree with you in that I want to see Salvos but I think your wording comes across a bit harshly. Do you think it was Salvos that exploded the matriarch?

Sometimes I have these days where I have a hard time doing anything other than my immediate obligations and I keep distracting myself with YouTube and such. Is that how you experience burnout? Or is it more like writer's block that you want to write and sit in front of the page but no words come out?
