2024-08-18 16:40:19 +0000 UTCThere must be limitations to this; basically, it all has to siphon from the same "pool" of "GS power" he has, and we already saw something similar to this: Levithus, for instance, had a GS that gave him 10 levels and the ability to use the grand skills of the demon he mimicked, at least those he saw in action, and that was really bad; took Salvos, Belzu and Rose with the treasures of Alexander to finally kill him. We also saw Avaritia copy Regnorex's skills, and the drawback was that it was limited to his own pool of power, and drained it very quickly, but while it lasted it was a problem. So, as a conjecture, this is going to be very bad, but there must be some drawback, for instance there's some constant total power pool all of his grand skills draw from, and when that's exhausted, he's against Salvos with her [Divine Essence of...] GS that lasts a day, and he's dead. However, her defensive GS will fizzle out within minutes and she can only hope he exhausts most of his skills and mana pool until then.

2024-08-18 09:46:05 +0000 UTCNo, I don't think so. Both her "demonic essence" and "partial mortality" were replaced with Divine Essence, which hints at the direction her evolution should be going. The demonic essence feels like an inferior version, and it's just because this guy has almost 30 levels on her does it all look impressive. No, she needs to develop her divinity, and she needs to learn how to integrate it with the corruption into something greater; this demonic essence thing, it's basically shit. She could for instance corrupt the pool of his "blood" and he'd be insta-fucked.

He had her on the ropes for the entirety of the second round, so it's 1:1. She is running out of protection, he sustained unknown amounts of corruption damage, fired off multiple GS, and who knows what might break. She's completely uninjured, and he had the worst beatdown since his defeat to Regnorex, and appears to be firing off all he's got. Neither has any idea about the full extent of the other's power. Psychologically, Salvos is like "wow, this stuff is cool, I want some", and Jofis didn't show much but he must be thinking something along the lines of "please God I'll never be cocky again if only I survive this one". :)

2024-08-17 18:16:10 +0000 UTCSalvos isn't even properly angry yet, she's just defending, and even that mostly passively. She needs to sharpen up. Also, this copy GS looks very much like Avaritia's copy of Reggie's skills - eventually he's going to run out of juice, hopefully at the worst possible moment for him. He already fired off quite a lot of skills, and taken quite a bit of damage. That can't just go on indefinitely.
